Found C43

However, I would pay for a Pre-Purchase Inspection in advance if you want to do this to make sure that the car is in good shape before taking it on a ~2000 mile journey. But, if you haven't been through the southwest before, the scenery is absolutely incredible and it is a beautiful drive. I've done it twice now and I'd do it again (perhaps at a slightly slower pace the third time around).

i wish I could justify another w202....or a few more

my friend has a six speed c36 here in Sacramento btw

If you do it remotely, you can do a wire transfer if you feel confident in the seller or use an escrow service if you have some concerns and want to be protected. Just have to make sure the buyer is ok with using escrow, which essentially holds the money in escrow until both sides are satisfied that the deal is complete.

but $650 for a round trip plane ticket plus $100+ for a pre purchase inspection plus $300+ for gas and food for the drive back plus $150+ for hotel fees to crash for 2 nights on the drive home, all ASSUMING the pre-purchase inspection doesn't find a single thing preventing it from a 2,000 mile road trip?
ship it, buddy. soon as it arrives I'll help you inspect it
Nashville to Chicago (open) $550
Sold a car-Chicago to Nashville (open) $500
Chicago to Denver (enclosed) $1200
Miami to Chicago (open) $800
Chicago to San Diego (enclosed) $1400
I have used uShip a few times with good success. As long as you do enough research with the company you choose, there should be no reason to worry, the transport companies are insured.
