Great progress on the C43! Don't have much of anything relevant yet to add to the conversation, just been admiring your work on the car.

Long time follower, first time responder Those wheel as stance are great! Love the progress. But why the heck can't I figure out the bike? Thought it was a Kona Honzo initially. Please clue me in!

And I'd be remiss if I didn't congratulate you on the great work and thank you for showing us that we don't need to own a complete auto shop to restore a car if we have the commitment and patience. You've inspired many of us!

Ah yeah. Should have picked that up. Nice fork too!
I am a hard tail fanatic - nine bikes in the garage and seven are hard tails.
Enjoy the ride this weekend and save enough time for more car progress

Damn thats crazy

I just built this one a few nonths back from frame up. Ive ridden some full suspension stuff but a hardtail is so much more fun. I dont think Id ever buy a full sus after riding this thing. Itll take on anything

Please tell me you're going to put the headlight wipers back on.

Took out driver side headlight to figure out the figlight issue. Looked like a loose connection back there. Got the fogs working but mixed up twonwires so the driver side isnt working now. Gotta take out the headlight again. Plug wont come out otherwise.

Looks good, but why is the stance so raked? Did you cut the front springs?

Car is currently on cut springs yes. I got those from my friend for the sake of testing the fitment of the wheels. The plan is to go coilover route

Are these the same part for C36 and C43? I have a set of motors/wipers I took from a 1996 C36.

Car is looking great! I drove a black C36 for 6 years with minimal waves/thumbs up. Ive driven my IR C36 ~500 miles over the last 5 months and get waves, thumbs up, compliments everywhere. The red catches everyones attention.

Ive got everything packed up right now, but I’ll dig them out after the move. Looks like you have the motors, do you just need the hard wiper piece?

Maybe you've answered this before, but what's the suspension setup you're using to get it so low? I want to lower mine a tiny bit one day, but probably not that low.
