Suggestions For Exhaust Leak
Just came from a shop and was told the flange (not sure if that’s the proper name) is no good.
I like to ask if they sell those pieces to be replaced? I was told it’s the Mercedes way to add a flex to the exhaust system.
See link for pictures of the defective parts. It shows black powder escaping and it’s getting loud.
any suggestion on what to do here?

Mercedes sell the necessary parts, so it should be no problem to replace as long as the brackets are not too rusted. BTW there are two gaskets for the two pipes

thanks. Did you see the pictures in the links? It’s rusted but I have no idea if it’s useless to replace. If it’s to rusted can I have them install a universal flex thingy?
anyone know the oem part numbers for this?
I’m in Bolingbrook Illinois.
And btw air box sales are going pretty good if anyone needs one…
