Bilstein Shocks Question..
Hey guys, I’m restoring my c43 and I got the front suspension all done. Doing the rear now and I was looking at the parts I ordered over a year ago. All parts are correct accept for the rear bilstein shocks.
I ordered the B8 shocks but they sent me the B4s. I called parts geek but they refuse to help since it’s been so long.
I have installed the B8s in the front and wanted to match the rear as well. Anyone here think I should buy the B8s from elsewhere or just install the B4s?
I also have the H&R sway bar in front and will install the H&R rear sway bar as well. I want the car to have a nice and tight suspension. That’s why I’m asking about the B4s if I should just use them or get the B8s.
Thanks for any input.

The B4's, I'm told, are way softer. I can't imagine that would have anything but bad impact on handling and ride. Body roll in the rear, party in the front?
I have B8's on all 4 corners on mine and it stiffened it up quite a bit over factory but not harshly. Handles like a go kart now.

Do you remember the part number for the rear B8 shocks? I think is this one but want to make sure before I order.

To be honest I’m not that patient to take time and take pictures than post. I barely have enough energy to do the work. But maybe I will change my mind and post some pics from time to time.
I hope those prices you mentioned will be true soon. I got a lot of money and time invested in this car. I’m replacing so many things that when I sell I’m going to regret it. But right now i could use the cash so i have to sell.
The car has 122K miles and I haven’t driven it much since I bought it. I just started to restore right away. But I got sick and had to stop for some months. Feeling a bit better but not fully so it will be a while before it’s done.
I’m hoping things will change financially so I can hold on to it for myself.

TBH this pairing was put together by my european independant shop that speciaizes in autocross vehicles. He asked what i was looking for.I wanted a lowered stance with better handling but not a jarring ride.it exceeded my expectations. These B2 sports are great.
