Congrats..... Enjoy it ......

Did you get any discount on the price of the car ?

What was the money factor and residual ? Is it still 59 % residual

I have an appointment to go test drive a C43 on Monday......

If I like it, I am going to be asking for at least $5000 discount off MSRP....

The car as I configured it has an MSRP of $66,535.....

If I don't get the deal I want, I will just purchase my current car at the end of the lease.....

- Black
- Cranberry Red Leather
- Night Package
- Premium 2 Package
- AMG Performance Steering Wheel
- 19" AMG Multispoke Wheels w/ Black Accents
- Black Ash Wood Trim
- AMG Performance Exhaust

MSRP $62,895 (w/o Destination & Delivery)

Less 5% for ED = $59,750
Less "Dealer Loyalty Discount" of $950 = $58,800 (before sales tax & fees)
Follow-up:

I was able to get the selling price for this configuration down to $56,605 w/ European Delivery. That's $7,215 off from the $63,820 sticker, or a discount of 11.3%. I'm happy.

2017 C43 Coupe -Selenite Grey w/ PE..... 2014 Black Jaguar F-Type convertible- Sold
Home Stretch

So after several months of trying to put it out of my mind...the end is near! I spec'd a 2017 C43 Coupe and placed my order in early November. Car's supposedly done with production and "boarding a boat from Germany"....I perhaps misread something on the forums a while back, but was under the impression most, if not all C43's were being built in the plant in Alabama???

Anyway, after months of crunching numbers and trying to get an accurate estimate of my lease payment, here's what I know....

2017 C43 Coupe- Selenite Grey Metallic
Black Leather w/ Red Stitching
Premium 2 Package
Night Package
Illuminated Star
Vented Seats
HUD
Carbon Fiber Trim
AMG Performance Exhaust
Red Seat Belts

Total price with Destination and Delivery: $66,305
I'm wanting 12k/36months

I've used a couple different Lease price calculators (Bankrate for example) and I'm hoping to get them to drop the MSRP by $3-$5,000...should I be more aggressive?

Ultimately, I'm just wanting the monthly payment to be around $900 or so/month. Being modest when calculating the actual Sales price (Let's just say they are unwilling to discount it much and I get it at $65k)...with $0 down...6.25% Texas Sales tax, and a lending rate at 3%(again, slightly modest, hopefully I could get it closer to 2%)
~59% residual, which is the % I've seen several places here in the forum....

Puts me at $850/month before tax...$902 w/tax

Anything I'm overlooking? Anyone lease in Texas? Is my 6.25% still accurate? What about the Money Factor for TX?

I'm excited, but given I've not signed anything yet, I have a feeling they'll politely play hard ball since they know it's exactly how I want it and won't want to walk away from it...and even if I do, they'll simply sell it to someone else, if not me. I'm hoping to get the MSRP down closer to $60k to help offset any unforeseen costs (tint, etc).

Thanks as always for the input. #fellowlurker

Thanks for the helpful advice lol

I know why you feel that way, but again, you know nothing about my situation. So for what my criteria are and other variables, me leasing the C43 for 900/month isn't wasteful in my opinion.

I'm coming from $1300/month for my F-Type, so $400/month I'm saving is a good chunk of change. Not to mention I have a car allowance through work and a wedding in 90 days. C43 now, Gran Turismo or Bentley later.

Yes, be more aggressive. Discounts do vary depending on the dealer, but with an MSRP like that I'd be pushing for a discount of more than $5K. Look at some of the deals on this thread. Wishing you luck!

My dealer sent me their first shot at a lease today and they think they are giving me a great deal. I know I have seen much better on here. I think this is just crazy!

Not sure how you guys are getting these deals. I'm shopping on cars.com right for color combinations that I like and no one is discounting more that a couple thousand dollars and certainly not below invoice.

2017 Mercedes C43 Coupe
Invoice is just a starting point; most dealers will show you that number because that is not really what it costs them for the car. Just a sales trick. There is a certain amount of money called Dealer Holdback which is money paid back to the dealer by the manufacturer for each new vehicle sold (kickback). They do not talk about this. Bring that up and fight to dip into that, as well as, the other incentives (fleet discount, brand loyalty incentive, military etc) and you can most likely get a price that is 10-13% below msrp. Most if not all Mercedes vehicles are marked up 8 to 10% on the msrp anyways. With dealer holdback, the initial markup and maybe a small incentive it should be easy to get at least 10% off.

I got 13.5% off with just a $1,500 repeat customer incentive, they took the rest off just from holdback and markup.

Can someone look over these lease numbers and tell me if they are in the ball park. I know some of you have managed to get between 8-13 percent off MSRP but no dealer in NC will take 8 percent off that car.

2017 C43 Sedan
MSRP 59755
Discount 3000
Price 56755
MF 0.0013 (dealer says this is the tier 1 rate)
36 months @12 miles

If anyone is interested and wants virtually the same car except for the trans which isn't much different. I have listed my 2016 C450 AMG with 1100 miles per month, 37 months left and its $498 month + your state's tax. $0 down, NO MSDs, etc. $0 down, just take over the car.

Nice deal and car, if I didn't just pick up a Z06, I would've jumped on this

Ha, just noticed you have a Z06... I just got the below, car is freaking a beast and I haven't stepped on the gas yet (NJ snow hasn't been very nice lately)

Hmm, I'm inclined to say that it's a good deal based on the Canadian pricing I've seen (factoring in the exchange rate).

What would your total % off MSRP be? I don't know how the US MB model works, but as I understand it, Canadian pricing is consistent across provinces...as is the % markup. 8% is the standard markup here. I've heard of people buying the car in the US with discounts between 0% to 13% - which seem like pretty inconsistent buying experiences.

The way I would calculate it personally is how much dealer profit you are willing to give as opposed to how much of a discount you want. I give anywhere between 500 to 1500 bucks depending on how bad I want the car. If you can land in that range of dealer profit, and you meet your monthly goal...then go for it. There are a number of members on here that make a car purchase seem like a life or death decision - I don't think you're one of them. That's a good thing. Get the car and enjoy it. You do you fam.

Very good price, I am giving back my C250 which I lease for $400 a month with $0 down. Love the car, especially the Sport package but wanted more power. Figured a C43 would be an extra $100 to $150. These guys are insane with the current lease rates. I thought of buying a C63, but don't want to get murdered on maintenance.

Yes, the Z is a 2017
I just took off the skirts and splitter and am putting on carbon fiber parts when it comes back from the XPEL installers. Ended up going with Kerbeck with a custom order, they knocked off 12% which Macmulkin was also matching. A lot of car for the money
