C43 AMG Performance Exhaust System - now a separate option?
Mainly for the Australians (and any other applicable region) out there.
While looking through the C-Class Coupe configurator today I noticed the performance exhaust seemed to be selectable as a separate option instead of listing it only as part of the Performance Ergonomic Package (which also includes performance seats)!!!! This change seems to be new to the configurator...as in, it seemed to be bundled in only a few days ago.
I really do hope this is the case, as I would really like this exhaust, but prefer the standard seats.
Anyone out there able to confirm one way or the other?

You know, price is important and I do agree that it'll be high. However, aftermarket options don't seem to be any cheaper! At least the switchable ones...

I'm working on AWE in this regard. There is no reason that the other companies need to be charging $4k for something that should be $2k. I hope they listen as it would be stupid for them not to.

AWE did the smart thing by bringing a cheaper option to market. The switchable pipes are a ton of money and not to much different from the OEM setup. AWE made a true dual exhaust in 2 different volumes (one of them is pretty much straight pipes kissing in the center) and sells them cheap.
GTHaus and Armytrix are nuts which what they charge. Why not buy a pair of controllable mufflers since the layout is still the same? Those systems splice into each other after the downpipes and then split up at the axle.
I've been saying this since I got my car, but I really want to make a set of exhaust dumps right after the down pipes. I want to be able to open them up when I want to hammer it, and rip it.

do you mean you've heard both the MB Perf Exhaust on a C43 and the AWE Touring/track? Is the AWE exhaust louder than the performance exhaust?
