C43 Lease Price - Good?

Hi,

I have been negotiating prices with several dealers in my area. I was given lease deal today for....

Selenite Gray - MSRP $61,745
Negotiated Price - $55,995
$2500 Cash Down
48 months 12k annual = monthly payment $649
Black Leather / Red Stitching
19 Inch wheels AMG multi spoke with black accents
Black Ash wood trim
Premium 3 package

Does this look like a good deal? Should i keep negotiating? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why 48 months? Typical advice is to keep any lease no longer than 36 months. That's pretty good price off MSRP though.

that same deal at 36 mo would be amazing, at 48 it's okay.

Like others have said, good discount but I don't see the benefit in a 48 month lease. What's the residual at 48 months?

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I will try to negotiate to 36 months and get the price to same amount. I have been emailing the dealers and working on prices. Any other advice? I don't have residual at this time but will also ask for this.

I am trying to keep monthly payment to $650 including tax. Is this achievable?

I believe it is achievable, but will require some work and possibly patience. I am well under $650/month on my lease albeit on a slightly lower msrp, but our sales tax is a bit higher here and that was with nothing down. Rough math I believe you would need to get the sales price below $54k, be at the base mf, 36/12k lease, and cover inception fees upfront to be under $650/month. Do you qualify for any incentives?

The only incentive I am being offered is "Winter Event" $1,500 from mercedes. I have 2 dealers I am negotiating with. What do you suggest I do to negotiate to below 54k. I have been working the dealers via email. Should o get on the phone. I prefer everything in writing of course as I can use this to my advantage no?

Based on the all the threads you're creating on this and all the price finagling you're doing, can you really afford this? I mean, I'm all for getting a good price that is both fair to you and the sales associate, but if $50 or even $100 past your target is holding you back, then I don't think this is the right car for you. Don't over extend yourself when a c300 is a perfectly fine choice for an automobile.

For a car, I always say find out what you can afford comfortably, and then whatever 75% of that number is should be your price.

Affording the car is not an issue. It is about negotiating the best price, same rules apply for business. If you can't offer advice per the questions being asked then why offer your opionion? I appreciate your feedback however can you please offer advice per your negotiations as originally posted?
