Adding Performance Exhaust to C43 After Purchase

I am interested in doing this.

Is this even possible?

Cost?

Performance / HP increase?

Thank you.

No service departments are offering this option at the moment. So while it's not impossible, MB is not going to do it for you.

Aftermarket is your only realistic option right now.

Rumor has it that AWE is working on a switchpath exhaust for the C43/C450.
A switchpath version may offer all the goodies of the performance exhaust and likely improve upon it.

I was told the same from my dealer ~ I bought 2 moths ago the 2017 C43, loaded but not the exhaust and am also interested in finding out how I can add the performance exhaust system now, have it controlled on my console... without compromising my warrantee?????

Just emailed AWE (pennsylvania) and they're connecting me to the Massachusetts dealer. Got a fast response which was nice. Still need to check if it affects my warrantee as the cars brand new. Sounds like it can be done....next is cost and who does the install.

Upgrading the exhaust will not affect the warranty for anything except the actual exhaust parts that are replaced.

Yes, warranty will not be effected in any way.

The issue is going to be price. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that even the $5000 Armytrix exhaust is going to be a cheaper option than if you are able to somehow find a way to purchase the PE from your dealer.

Thank you.
Awe Tune (in Penn.)put me in touch with a company on Ct. They can do it but say it cannot be controlled from the cockpit aftermarket as the stock C43 does not have a valved exhaust...?
Im checking with my dealership about that and with AWE direct.

It is available for a C43 through scuderiacarparts.com who ships over the Brabus Exhaust Kit with Brabus tailpipes/skirting. Requires light bodywork/painting but a simple bolt on changeover,Controlled on the steering wheel! This maybe viewed as an upgrade to the value of my car on resale...but its $6500 delivered to usa before install. :-0

They also have a Capristo Exhaust kit that works directly with the existing C43 tail pipes and it controlled with a fob push button for $4500.

Thoughts? (I don't want anyone but MB working on the car) I think its too pricey when alls said and done unfortunately....AWE Tuning has no remote control option as of now
