Really looking to see some updates on how it's performing and more importantly any issues such as check engine lights..
I've had my Dinantronics sport installed on my C450 for about a month now. Initially the Bluetooth connection was a little sporadic, but since moving the under hood unit to it's new location, the connection improved greatly.
I haven't had a check engine light yet with the Dinan installed (knock on wood), my exhaust "crackle" is unaffected, and I definitely can feel the power increase the unit offers. I keep my Dinan on "Race" since 93 octane is readily available in my state. Absolutely worth the price!
Golan is usually very quick to respond, and a good guy. The device is a good value though even Dinan agrees the app "needs some love." Use it merely for off, on, or mode and it is fine.

Same. I haven't heard back either. My local dealer (1/2 mile from my house) sells it, but they charge $300 for install and won't just sell me the part without installing.

Don't bother with this Dinan module as it's bluetooth connectivity is flaky. Just go for a full ECU tune and don't look back. You won't regret it.

Not to mention the price difference between this unit and a full ECU tune. Given the Dinan's cheap price and ease of installation, I don't care if I end up thinking it's a dud.

If you guys are close to the US border, just get it shipped to a US mail/parcel pickup address. That is what I do when ordering parts or stuff off Amazon, takes me 40 mins to hop across the border, may save you a few bucks in this instance.

They're trying to charge you $300 to install the Dinan module? If so that's crazy!! Takes 5 minutes to install and no tools are necessary...
Anyway on a side note if someone wants a module mine is for sale. Only used it for a week before just going the AMR Performance route. I'll let it go for $250 plus shipping.

exactly!. I haven't even used the app but two or three times to change the settings. I have it where I like it now and haven't thought about it since. Def worth the price for what you get
also saw on another thread here that Dinan has done an "elite" box as a prototype for the 4.0 AMG C63 guys and one of the members here is testing it. So maybe their fully warranted units are on the horizon!~

That's what I said. They told me it's 2 hours of installation inclusive of testing pre and post installation to ensure there are no issues. I definitely feel better about the dealer installing vs me, but hard to justify at that cost.

Yes, it's that simple...5 minutes tops, even Trump with his tiny little hands could install it. I removed my plastic engine cover to make things easier...which doesn't require any tools, just pull up on it.
You'll spend more time securing the excess wiring from the Dinan with cable ties. As for the Bluetooth connection, it takes like seconds from your smart phone.
