Dinan Tune for W205 3.0L C43 AMG Preorder!

I think mine had a a manufacturing defect. The wiring harness has a clip that looks like it is supposed to snap into the body of the tuner. My harness has a metal band that rides too close to the teeth of the clip and prevents them from engaging. I believe the only thing that was holding it in place was the adhesive and pressure from the rubber boot on the harness.
Pics forthcoming...
I think this is just an early production QC miss. These happen. The real test will be in how well Dinan responds. I'm not worried about Golan and Autotalent, he's been solid from the get go. I expect Dinan will be too.

The AMR tune isn't a piggyback, therefore it cannot "fall apart" lmao the dinan unit is a piggyback device that plugs in. Clearly it is low quality if it is falling apart lol. This is why the piggyback route is a waste of money in my opinion.
I asked the location suspecting heat separation of the adhesive.
I will take a look at mine this evening to inspect for any abnormal wear. If Dinan provides a new unit at no costs, that would be super awesome. I like my unit, and I am just waiting for a little more miles before I go full ECU tune and down-pipes. As of right now the bang for buck on this Dinan unit is good.

The black material around the terminus of the white clip is metal. The edge of the metal is irregular and is causing interference with the clip and the body of the tuner box.
There is no evidence of heat damage of any sort. This appears to be a fitment issue with the metal shroud. I'm assuming the metal shroud is there to protect the wiring harness from being kinked.
I wish there were more tuners like Burger MotorSports on the BMW side. They would actually buy/lease a stripper car and tune it. Then re-sell or keep it depending on if the platform is useful or not.
So far I haven't seen anything worth-while from the other piggybacks on the market. I like Dinan so I am hoping they come out with a good plug-and-play product so I would not have to go with another tuner having to ship off my ecu. I like being able to connect and disconnect my current sportronic device 😎
Thank you for your several kindnesses.

The reason I ask is because I haven't driven too much at all since installing it, but I don't feel like I'm noticing much difference.
Also, should the boost meter in the AMG screen be acting differently at all as a result of installing the tune?
