Wheel spacers with factory wheels.
This is not the first time the topic has been posted, but wasn't able to find relevant information.
I would like to have my wheels closer to flush than what MB provides.
Anyone here running spacers on factor wheels?

-what specs
Locally,a guy is selling a set of 20mm spacers. This could work fine on the rear, but I need to confirm I won't have any poke.

18's or 19's? They have different offsets.
20's will work in the rear if lowered, otherwise 15 is borderline pushing it. I ran 5's in the front.
This is 18mm in the rear at OEM height with 19's

For the factory wheels, you can run a 10mm or 12mm up front, and the rear you can run a 12mm or 15mm. On my C300 sport I am running the 12mm front and 15mm rear with the factory 19x7.5/8.5 AMG multi spokes. If you are running the factory 18" wheels, go with doing the 10mm front and 12mm rear. If you are on the fence about lowering the car, take my advice and do the spacers first, and then decide if you want to lower it. When you space out the wheels it reduces the gap considerably and honestly I did not want to lower my vehicle as the front will likely hit driveways and tire blocks. Cosmetically this would be a far worse inconvenience. The factory wheels spaced gave the car a more aggressive look and did not compromise the ride or function of daily driving. Be sure that the spacers include the proper matching lug bolts...you will need to run different front and rears.

Thanks for the info. I had seen the 19" multi spoke from the 300/400 cars on a the C43 and I believe it was the same wheel. I believe there is a wide open split spoke that is directional that is I think 2mm different on the rear?

Confused on spacers and lowering springs
Hi Team,
I am a newbie here, driving 2017 W205 C300 with Original AMG multispoke wheels , fr 225x40R19 rear 255x35R19.
I always want to lower the car using Eibach Prokits, and also thinking to use eibach pro spacers to support the overall look.
Based on the above stock specs, what will be the most suitable tire size for this?
Based on my research, is it Front 225x35R19 & rear 255x30R19?

I supplied a few spacer sets with bolts to quite a few members here. The spacers I used are fully hub centric in and out, and I supplied them with the properly matched length lug bolts.

From the attached picture, I see a (potentially major) problem: the longer bolts are incorrect ball seat size: MB OEM bolts are R14, while pictured bolts are R12. What does it mean? The R12 bolts do not seat correctly in factory MB wheels, which are designed for R14 bolts, hence clamping force is compromised. Most aftermarket suppliers, not specializing in MB, do not have a clue about it and are supplying spacers for MB factory wheels with R12 bolts instead of R14.

As noted I used 12mm front and 15mm rear running the 19x7.5/.85 factory sport wheels.
I supplied a few spacer sets with bolts to quite a few members here. The spacers I used are fully hub centric in and out, and I supplied them with the properly matched length lug bolts.

From the attached picture, I see a (potentially major) problem: the longer bolts are incorrect ball seat size: MB OEM bolts are R14, while pictured bolts are R12. What does it mean? The R12 bolts do not seat correctly in factory MB wheels, which are designed for R14 bolts, hence clamping force is compromised. Most aftermarket suppliers, not specializing in MB, do not have a clue about it and are supplying spacers for MB factory wheels with R12 bolts instead of R14.
The biggest issue I have seen people here have is with the spacers, many of the suppliers have a radius off the hub section that is the biggest culprit of vibration as the wheel hub ends up not seating all the way to the pad, this and also suppliers that do the bore at 66.6 rather than actually 66.56. It is a hair I know, but I have seen these circumstances cause the vibration issues, but I have never seen a problem with the R12 bolt replacing an R14.
I think this was good for you to bring up and thanks for pointing this out, I am sure everyone here appreciates that this was addressed as doing these spacer upgrades can sometimes be complicated, and where I come from in my experience starting back in 1993 working for Lorinser/CEC early in my career, then to Brabus for many years, and most recently I was the last official importer for Carlsson, all specializing in Tuning Mercedes-Benz Vehicles, and I have always said, if it is not right or tested and proven, don't do it. Unfortunately there are a lot of people here that get burned, and I hate seeing people spend good money after bad, so please don't think that I would ever mention someone to do something that would compromise their safety and function of their vehicle.

Also, the C450/C43 also came with lower offset wheels, so the spacers for that setup also used the 10mm/12mm.
The 12mm/15mm combo was ideal for the 19" multi spoke sport wheels.
With the 18" wheels the 10mm/12mm spacers will provide the more aggressive stance and will not pose any issues.

threeMBs, it is good that you bring up this point, and I have asked this very question and the ball radius on a R12 and R14 does in fact have a smaller ball diameter, but is still a ball configuration that does in fact secure the lug seat properly. To make the comment that I might be an individual not specializing in MB's is not an accurate statement. I did in fact run those spacers and bolts on my own vehicle; a 2015 C300 sport, and I was in fact the very first person here to test and fit this setup on the W205, and this setup is on my current vehicle a 2018 E300, and my lug supplier who also supplies MB dealers throughout the country who is the Official RAD importer has confirmed that this setup is safe and functional.

I certainly don't want to debate or argue with you, that is not my intention. I am referring to Phil at Otis and he has confirmed this as this question has been raised before, never has there ever been any issues of bolts backing out or wheels vibrating from this setup. In circumstances as you mentioned that the R14's are available, I am not saying not to choose those, in the instance where inventory for those has not been available, Phil has supplied R12's with no intentions of risk for safety. In many cases of orders I placed orders to use the correct matching lug hardware which would typically consist of R14 bolts. The spacer kit I provided the pic of from my own car at the time was using the R12 which was due to no inventory at the particular time of the R14.
Again, it is good that you raised this question and I don't see any reason to argue your point, and this again is great knowledge for members here to get the right comfort when making these modifications, if the R14's are not available at the time, just don't do it if you don't feel using the R12 is right, even in the case where Phil would say it is, people can be in the know either way.

19" Factory Rims, factory run flats on a stock ride height. Installed them myself and have had no issues. Picked the spacers up from a company called Venom out in the Los Angeles area for about $90 for all 4.
