2017 C43 AMG rattle in rear deck
Several of us discussed different ideas and fixes for rattle in the rear seat/deck area. MB had my car for 2 days and it turned out to be the black plastic folding milk crate that lies flat under the trunk flap (like ewr compartment). Believe me I had to laugh and am delighted the nose is gone.

Same thing!
Hello, Just bought a 2017 C43 sedan on 7/15.
Rattling didn't go away yet, sounds like up higher. Rear deck, maybe. I took out the crate assuming that was it....no luck. Going to the dealer Monday. I'll update.

Thank you, I'll check that out. You guys are making me realize I'm not crazy over here.
I'll post some some pictures this week, opted to go night package but swapped out the rim color from black to aluminum grey, also changed black exhaust tips out for chrome.
Selenite Grey, Blk Leather with red stitch.
The debates over color on these threads were really helpful.

Sedan Pano Roof. I got in the back and started tapping things to see if I could find the problem. My issue was exactly in the middle back of the headliner right by the glass. I need to take it in. However to fix it temporarily, I had a piece of foam that I stuck between the headliner and roof. Noise went away.

does anyone know what the dealer is doing to remedy this rear headliner rattle? id rather do it myself than keep it at the dealer for hours or days unless they are tearing down the whole headliner.

If that's the case, dealer is going to make it way worse dropping the headliner to remedy.

I had an annoying rattle noise, thought it was from either the passenger seat or the rear door. Technician replaced all the weather stripping and noise went away

Rattle fixed in my car.
2018 C43 sedan and was having a really annoying rattle from the rear area / back deck / headliner. I wasn't sure but after reading some of the above comments, I sat in the back seat and just started pushing around the back. The headliner area right where it ends and the top of the back windshield starts, was a horrible fit. Along the entire width of the back window the headliner would push up just a little, and the material underneath actually sounds like a metal channel along the entire liner. I was just lightly pushing on it, simulating what it would be like to bounce when hitting normal road bumps, and that was the culprit for sure.
I had some foam at home that I cut in to small pieces and put one between the liner and roof in the middle, and about a foot on each side. Drive for the last 24 hours now has been rattle free. Surprised by this, its almost as if MB forgot to put some material in there.
Anyway... that was my culprit.
