Replacing the Run flats

Just wanted to know what tire you guys recommend getting to replace the run flats that come with the car. After all the negativity drivers expressed about them, and how much better it was after they switched I decided I'm going to order new ones and have them at the dealer the day I take delivery. I got just about a month until it arrives.

*Pref all season as I dont have the luxury to change to winter tires, due to lack of storage, but if theres a summer tire that really just stands out, let me know.*

Thanks!

Junk for NYC roads. Sidewall is too soft, even on the small pothole you get a bubble.

OP, you better get summer tires for summer and winter tires for winter. You won't regret it. Otherwise don't buy a performance vehicle. All season is OK for Civic.

I ordered Kumho Ecsta PS91 tires (not runflats) and I have given them a belting, so far, so good. Road noise is excellent, they handle very well in wet or dry, and the price is very reasonable. I have not taken them on the track but they've had an even mixture of highway and regular roads, all good.

Honestly, for summer I go with BRIDGESTONE POTENZA S-04 POLE POSITION XL. Amazing tires!

Replaced my RFTs with Michelin PS4S and could not be happier. Bad *** tire in all aspects.

I went with the Pilot Sports, no complaints. Anything in this car is pretty rough in the city in my experience, but I am very happy with the Michelin's.

I just bought these online from Costco. They should be arriving any day now to the warehouse. I can't wait to try them out.

Got the tires installed at Costco today. The ride is significantly more comfortable. I'm glad I replaced the run flats.

Something to note... the guy at Costco told me not to use those tire sealant cans because they can damage the sensor. I'm not sure of the validity of this statement.

This was good advice 5-10 years ago. Today it is no longer true.

I am very happy with Michelin Pilot AS3+ ultra high performance all season tires. They have performed considerably better than the stock rf summer performance tires under dry conditions while driving aggressively. Traction has been good in light snow and ice. They are great for light-duty winter tires.

I did the same thing this past week as well. Much better drive and Michelin has 3 year road side assistance where they will tow you upto 240kms to nearest Michelin dealer anywhere in North America.

I had to wait about 5 weeks to get replacement tires since I had a cut tire on right front crappy Conti 5P RFT. I looked at getting Pilot 4S's but couldn't get them.

Dealer wanted $480 cdn to replace the OE tire + install + taxes.

What tire pressure did you go with? I assume they should be a little different than the stock run flats. I'm getting mine on tomorrow.

Continental dws06 are far superior to the a/s3+ in the snow.. don't confuse the conti dws06 with the old regular dws..the dws06 are great and they made the sidewall much better..tread life is better than the a/s3+ also..ride and comfort and noise are about equal but the continentals are cheaper

Well living in Texas, I don't think I have to worry about snow (unless it's one of those really crazy winters)
I did have the Conti DWS (about 6 years ago) on my previous car and got less than half the expected tread life out of them. They were great for the first 5k miles but then I hated them. I just don't trust they made them substantially better. Plus they have a softer sidewall so not good with potholes, which I see plenty of around here.
