you should also be checking with load on the suspension. aka jack the wheel up to get a really clear idea

someone has ran 255 on 8.5 et32.

custom forged wheels might have some more 'tolerance' than some of these cast wheels. but hey, can't argue that it doesn't. I think he did confirm they rub the arm at full lock.

Thanks @toosteeley @alexasa for input. Too be honest I'm surprised with such a low clearance with an empty wheel. Somehow I was expecting to have bigger clearance with ET30-32 flow formed wheels...
I'm planning to put 225/35 winter tyres for front which will be probably stretched more than enough to fit, and for summer switch to PS4S - either 225/35 or 235/35 - I know they are running a bit wide, so maybe 225 wouldn't be that bad as well?

You’ll be fine with 235 PS4S. For 19x8.5 you’ll want 235/40/19 tires though.

too many...
Just pulled the trigger on Fittipaldi FSF03 forged 19X8.5 35mm and 19X10 45mm. 2021 C43 coupe. I got a killer deal on them but they are blue, well not for long…. Going to my man James Terry for a refinish @MrSpeedCoatings. Tires will be Michelin PS4 235/40ZR19 front and 275/35ZR19 rear. Thinking I will unfortunately need 5mm spacer on front but ESC says not compatible. anyone have a link for proper 5mm spacer? Planning H&R springs. Fitment should be spot on with 5mm front?

I run 19x8.5 +30 offset front with 255/35 19 Michelin PS4S.
No rubbing on lock to lock turns. Slight rubbing on the plastic fender liners on dips.

Here are some pics of the clearances to the knuckle.

Hi Everyone,

Can I ask for a quick sanity check before I pull the trigger? I've read the thread, just making sure these will fit my 2019 C43 Sedan without issue.

Front: 19 x 8.5 et 30 running 235/40/R19

Rear: 19 x 10 et 45 running 265/35/R19

The car is stock ride height for now, but thinking about lowering on KW V3s in the near future.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

I've finally managed fit my new rims and lower it with H&R springs at the same time:

Rims: JR SL01 (Flow Form)
- Front: 19 x 8.5 et 32 with 225/40/19
- Rear: 19 x 9.5 et 40 with 255/35/19

I'm pretty happy with the rear, but the front somehow looks a bit tucked in. I'm thinking of adding additional 3mm spacers there but not sure if it's not going to poke out too much with et29, especially that I'm planning to switch to 235 and 265 for the summer.

Agreed. The fit is fine, especially if you go with 235 tires on the front. If you move them out towards the fenders any more than they are, they will rub.

That setup will be fine. I'd recommend 275/35/19 rear tires, but 265/35/19 will certainly work.

Question I've read through the entire forum but might need some help with this one? JDM C43?

2017 C43 AMG 4matic
I am Stock suspension with 19" Stock wheels, I plan on lowering it on H&R sport lowing springs first before I order wheels.

Ya'll might hate me after this but I love these ESR CS12's, I will be sticking with the stock tire sizes too. (will have all details below) Here are the wheels.

Like I said I will have H&R sport lowing springs before I do wheels.

ESR CS12 details
Front: 19x8.5 +30 (5x112) / kumho tires 225/40/19
Rear: 19x9.5 +22 or +35 (5x112) / kumho tires 255/40/19

I figure some sort of 5mm to 12mm spacers will be needed.
Note: - I want the stretched tires and lip of rim poking out.
- Will have to adjust for camber as needed as well.

^ better go with an adjustable spring or coilovers if you want that look.

H&R fixed springs will not be enough.

But offset will fit? and on rear my first option would be +22 offset bc want a bigger lip on the rear? Rather than the +35 offset.

That really depends on commitment to the game here lol

35 is safe, but you might need a spacer. If you're okay with potentially having the offset machined down to fit on the +22 that could work but I would not go into +22 without rolling fenders and having to massage the offset with custom machining (also not sure how much material would even be there for that).

Maybe show an example of the look you're going for, specifically, otherwise fo safe with the 35.

Thanks Toosteeley,

I really appreciate the help and will change the rear tire to a 274/35/19 as you suggested!

2018 AMG C43 SEDAN EC Stage 1
Today I just cracked my oem 18" wheels and am now looking to get new wheels. Initially i wanted to just get the same ones but reading through the wheel fitment guide ive noticed a lot of people get 19" wheels. I like the idea of being able to run wider tires too since im probably due for some new tires i might as well do both. With that said, Im hoping to get some recommendations for new wheels that are gloss black and will fit 235/40 front and 265/35 michelin AS4 tires without spacers. My car is not lowered either. I know the wheel and fitment guide is here for a reason but the more i read it the more confused i get as i am very uneducated on the matter and cant find wheels that have the correct offset or width (thread is also extremely long). Any help is appreciated.

I got my wheels through wheel designers, they were very helpful with answering my questions, as I had never gotten aftermarket rims for a car.
Check out their posts on here and message them

(Stance has a few other styles that will work too, however I cannot recommend 19x8.5 et35 without checking brake clearance with a template (for instance Stance SC-1 by Stance Wheels)

Two wheel choice by TSW in this fitment: 1. TSW Bathurst Rotary Forged by TSW Wheels 2. TSW Geneva by TSW Wheels
19x8.5 et32
19x9.5 et39
(would recommend the car be lowered and running OEM tire sizes)

Two more from TSW in this fitment: 1. TSW Interlagos Rotary Forged Wheel by TSW Wheels 2. TSW Nurburgring by TSW Wheels
19x8.5 et32
19x9.5 et41
(better off running OEM tire sizes so the rear tucks in)

19x8.5 et35
19x9.5 et46

5 options from Vossen in this fitment: 1. Vossen CV3-R by Vossen Wheels 2. Vossen CVT by Vossen Wheels 3. Vossen CV7 by Vossen Wheels 4. Vossen VFS-1 by Vossen Wheels 5. Vossen VFS-2 Silver Polished by Vossen Wheels
