I just ordered the last known spacers to man kind for these mercedes.
I have also tried a few others I wont even bother posting about since i dont deem them as a safe design. stick to H&R or ECS tuning spacers. there may be some ebay spacers that may be fine but there are many on ebay which suck. so once again stick to H&R or ECS tuning.
Anyway, I have more spacers coming in tomorrow. And weather is starting to turn here in michigan. it may just be time to get the summer wheels on!
update to the thread. i finally have my ideal fitment. No rubbing at all or even close to it, and it looks killer on the stock ride height. about 1.5-2 finger gap both front and rear.
I used machined 24556659 (12mm spacer) on the front which fit perfect. And I used the 2455665 on the rear which fit perfect with no modification
So final specs are:
Front:
235/40/ZR19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4s on W204 OEM Forged C63 Black Series wheels 19x8 et 45 with a 12mm 24556659 spacer modified per above lathe pics.
Rear:
265/35/ZR19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4s on W204 OEM Forged C63 Black Series wheels 19x9 et54 with a 12mm 2455665 spacer.
The only 10mm spacer i have found works on front only. And it is the special one like the 24556659 with extended hub. it would need to be machined down as well. No 10mm fits on rear i could find or without doing major machining.
Was wondering whether we could use a 9 inch wide wheel for the front of a C43 (E.g. 19 X 9 ET30)?
Sure you could if you:
1. slam the car and dial negative camber to ~3 degrees
2. roll the fenders
3. run fairly stretched tires (probably 225's)
4. run an even lower offset (closer to et20)
If that's what you're up for, then yes. If not, then no. The only person running a 9 inch wide wheel is mexiflush and I think it looks bad.

Thanks. I have no plans to roll the fenders. What is max width i can run for the front without rolling the fenders.

I would not go any wider than 8.5 width unless you are going for a stanced look. You're not going to be able to fit more rubber, despite having a wider wheel, and you will only run into issues with inner suspension and outer fender clearance.
Sometimes the more aggressive the offset the better the concave profile is on the wheel, but the C43 is extremely limited on what it can practically fit on the front end.
This is 20x9 et27 w/ 255/30/20 (which is sitting ~10 - 15mm proud of the front fender with the rim still extending further than the outer most part of the tire). This user has not specified if using spacers or not either. Assuming this is no spacers and inner clearance is okay, then also account for those who have lowered their vehicles, which camber the wheels in about 5mm you are still sitting proud, let's say, 7mm. This brand of tire is not as wide as a Michelin PS4S, but isn't abnormally narrow for this tire size either.
With the assumption that this is 20x9 et27 with no spacers, you'll need to dial in more camber and run a narrower tire. And running a 20 inch wheel actually improves inner clearance because you can dodge the lump on the steering knuckle. So running a 19 inch wheel may not have the same applicable specifications as a 20 inch wheel. Basically, you're entering uncharted territory and unless you are in the stance game and are ready to fiddle with things I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks everyone for all the hard work. I'm picking up my C43 tomorrow morning and I'm already looking for new wheels.
Read through the whole thread and my head is spinning now lol, not very savvy with these things.
Assuming I want to stick with 19" and run no spacers, not-lowered. Am I safe to assume that the ideal setup would be the following (flush to fender)?
Front: 19x8.5 ET32 with 235/40/19 (likely going to run PS4S tires)
Rear: 19x9.5 ET43 with 265/35/19 (also ps4s tires of course)
Main thing is I want to ensure my wheels won't affect the 4matic system.
I'm fine with running 19x8 up front, but it's so hard to find wheels in that spec.

More like 19x8 et30 w/ 235/40/19 and 19x9 et45 w/ 265/35/19 for non lowered.
That front set-up is still too close for comfort to say it's going to work 100%. I just had someone run into issues running that same spec and had to throw a 3mm upfront (which is fine but then you're rear will be less aggressive than the front).

Thanks Alexasa. So you mean 19x8 et30, and 19x9 will work right? and that the specs i mentioned you had someone who needed to run 3mm. Sorry just trying to be clear haha, not questioning you!

The fitment you suggested, 19x8.5 et32 with a PS4S 235/40/19, did not work for a fellow C43'er. He had to space the front out 3mm to clear the steering knuckle. If you run a less aggressive 235/40/19 compared to the PS4S (they run nearly a size wider than most 235 - you can check width on tire sites) you might clear, but you're still talking mm's which is a bit close for comfort.
Yes, the sizes I've suggested are more conservative and will fill the wheel wells out more.
Thanks to all for the very informative thread. I am looking at the TSW Nurburgring wheel, which is available in 19x8, but the offset is +45. This would require at least a 15mm spacer in the front. Is that too much?? With this spacer, the 1010tires calculator shows 3mm less inside and 9mm more outside, which is reasonable. CarID doesn't even show this wheel as compatible with the C450, presumably because of the super high offset. Rears would be 19x9.5 ET53, probably with a 10 or 12mm spacer, which would push the wheels ~1in out, which helps on this car. Car is stock ride height right now, although I'm thinking about H&R sport springs. What are your thoughts?

That's what I ran on the interlagos, 19x8 et45 w/ 15mm spacer and the 19x9.5 et53 w/ a 5mm spacer. Worked well but would do it differently if speccing new wheels on the car.
Why would you spec a different wheel? What were the issues you had? Do you have a more 3/4 view of your car with the wheels showing? Thanks for the response.

because 19x8 and 19x9 makes more sense for the size of the tires that come stock. With my set-up and the inherent differences between wheel width front to back, it makes fitting tires more difficult. I like the sidewall of the front to match the rear and the best way to do that on this car is running the following:
19x8 w/ 235/40/19
19x9 w/ 265/35/19
running a 9.5 in the rear means you either have to run a tire that will stretch more than the front (8 inch width) or sacrifice the rolling diameter ratios inherent from the OEM set-up.

but did you have any issues with rubbing, reduced turning circle, increased skipping during slow speed turns (mine already does it a bunch on the stock wheels), etc. as a result of the huge spacer compensation at the front?

skipping was not better or worse. I did get minor rubbing at full lock and the suspension wasn't fully grounded (think of doing a u-turn and the median has a slope tilt).
No, fronts will have issues and rears are gonna stick out. If you have adjustable suspension you may be able to get away with 20x9 +25, but you will have poke, and rub the fender liners when turning wheels lock to lock for the fronts. For the rears, you may be able to do 20x10.5 +58-60. You might have to go with stretching tires too. Putting 20’s on stock height just doesn’t look right... but that’s just me.
As i’ve shared on this thread and on another for c43/450 with 20’s. I have h&r springs, 20x8.5 +32, fronts. 20x10 +55, rears. Just fitted 245/35, f and 285/30 r, no issues.
Guys, I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Enkei Raijin option. They offer a 19x8 ET35 option for the front and 19x8.5 ET42 or 19x9.5 ET35 options for the rear in 5x112. These seem to be good specs. Anyone have experience with these wheels? Or maybe Enkei for another application?

19x9.5 ET35 is too aggressive for the rear (in most applications).
tire sizing won't be any fun running those specs and you will likely need to run spacers anyways.
