I don't know where you live but in my area, smooth, pot-hole free roads are few and far in between, so if I need to sacrifice a small amount of handling / performance in exchange for comfort / not ****ting my pants every time I hit a pothole, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

So quick update: it seems Extreme Customs have absolutely zero idea what they're doing...

The wheels came in and
1) They don't even have the same size bore as my stock wheels
2) They don't clear the calipers

Does anyone have any wheel suggestions for 18s?

I would absolutely love it if there was an 18 option for these:

18x8et30 on 225/45/18 should be what you're looking for or even 235/45/18 to bump the tire size up a hair
Hey Alexasa,

I did some digging on their website and it seems the Niche Misanos here (18x8 +30) fit these requirements. So I should be good with these?

Also I mis-spoke about the tires previously, the wheels I ordered came with the DWS06 in 225/45.

If the Niche Misanos definitely fit I'm hoping they can just swap the tires. I'd appreciate any feedback.

that should work. i would suggest having the company you're sourcing from use a brake caliper template to ensure no issues with fitment.

If using the stock tire size in either 18 or 19", is there any aftermarket wheel that will be a direct bolt on without using any spacers, etc. ?

So they got in touch with Niche and apparently Niche themselves said they don't fit...this is maddening

Yes don't buy the Niche. Bought them last year, had them mounted and returned them. Ended up going with a little different route than most C43 owners. Bought the Neuspeed RSE10, had the centred bored to fit the Mercedes and they fit great.

Can I ask why? I saw pictures of a user on here with the same exact wheels and they fit?! I’m so confused right now.

Needing (like so many rims for this car) spacers but the stretch on the front was WAY too much for me. Plus with the spacer on the front the wheel itself stuck out past the wheel well.

Niche

Could I get away with running no spacers, or are they mandatory? I didn’t see the other user mention spacers at all.

Even with the spacers it was so tight that the cap to the air valve needed to be removed.

Wow...

But what about Post #14 on this thread here...they seem to be the same wheels.

Again, 1Gunner does not mention running spacers anywhere...but I pm'd him to check. There's also another guy with different wheels but also 18x8 et 30, and he said they fit as well?

Are you sure yours were 18x8 et30?

those are the same. seems to work fine. and - as you can see -that offset is decent for front and rear fitment.

On my 2019 C43 coupe with stock suspension...

Tried to mount stock C63 19x8.5 ET35 on the front and without mounting tires, it's looking pretty grim. Without spacers and without tires mounted, the inside of the wheel touches the control arm. So then the question is how much space does one need? Anything more than a few mm will send the wheel beyond the fender lip but honestly I think it needs about 12mm spacers to avoid rubbing. Planning to run stock size 225s but am considering abandoning the 8.5s in favor of a different 19x8 wheel.

Is anybody successful with 8.5s that don't stick out more than a few mm?

Just wondering whether 19x8.5 +30 and 19x9.5 +45 would work? Wasnt sure about the +45 in the rear. What would be the recommended tyre with this setup? I prefer a meaty look.

et30 is aggressive for stock suspension height - et45 is good stock but conservative lowered

235/265 is you're best bet

What size spacer would you recommend for even flushness in the rear if lowered?

8.5" ET35 will bolt on but they will be touching the control arm. Actual spacer needed will depend on the tire. The control arm angles in toward the tire.

Does anyone know if a 20x9 would ever fit in the front?
