C43 Rear Valance Options

Hello,

I just upgraded my 2017 C43 Sedan with the AWE Touring exhaust. It sounds great and definitely feel more power in the pedal and a faster spool up of Turbo's.

The cherry on top would be to replace those odd looking C43 Exhaust tips with a nice Quad Squared AMG style- the kind that looks Bad ***

To do this the rear valance has to be replaced with an aftermarket or one from a C63, the stock C43 Valance will not fit the new tips and I am not interested in quad tips that scale down to fit the arch, I want the tips all the same size like the real AMG Quads.

I have done some research on Ebay and found some knock off kits from Taiwan that don't thrill me.

In need of suggestions on the best way to get this done?? Or on options for aftermarket rear Valances that will fit Quad square AMG tips

Thinking of sourcing a W205 C63 rear valance and using the AWE AMG style exhaust tips which mount directly to the bottom of the valance- no exhaust pipe welding needed.

I noticed that Brabus makes a rear Diffusers kit for the W205- but not sure where to source it in US and they are expensive.

Thank you for any help.

As you mentioned the C63 tips will not fit a standard C43 diffuser you need to buy the C63 diffuser, exhaust tips and supporting brackets which in my opinion is probably the best and most cost effective option, this is what I did. The Brabus tips do look great but very expensive once the diffuser is added as well.

Yes I agree AMG-10

That is definitely the best route to choose for cost effectiveness. The Yomato looks awesome but it is expensive.

I have been looking into getting the C63 rear diffusor for my C43, do you have any part numbers or what I would need to purchase to go this route? Do I need just the diffusor or are there other parts that I would need to buy?

Mercedes dealers are giving me a hard time because they say they aren't allowed to sell anything that did not come stock on the car??

Was the install difficult for you.

Thanks for the opinion and info

That's strange. I'd call some other dealerships. My dealership in NJ will sell me the parts although it's not much less than the yomato pieces. I'm in between whether I want the oem diffuser or the carbon fiber as my car is black with the carbon fiber package.

Others have also been quoted prices. I don't know the part# offhand but there's a thread somewhere around here where NYCSoil lists all of that info...

I don't have part numbers sorry. You need the tips, diffuser/valance and 2 or 3 supporting brackets plus the screws etc. The install is pretty straight forward I believe but from what I understand the rear bar needs to be removed and then you'll need to re program the rear camera. I had mine installed at Mercedes body shop without issue.
Best mod I have done by far

I have a list for the coupe, not sedan. There are much more options for the sedan, even chinese copies are available.

Ok thanks for the great info.

I really like the Yomato and the Carbon fiber look, thinking of pairing that with the Brabus style carbon fiber lip that Yomato also sells.

For the money I think the Yomato looks better.

Thanks again

You'll also need the 8,9 and 10 for each side I believe. Number 10 are the brackets to attach it, the C43 supporting brackets won't work. You will also need new screws etc. as you have to drill out the pot rivets. There is a thread somewhere with part numbers but haven't been able to find it sorry

Damn I knew it couldn't be that easy but was hoping it was, all of those parts comes to about $700 without the new tips.

Might be more cost effective to source a valance that is already made like Yomoto or a Brabus style.

Thanks for the input sir

I like that Brabus its badass... But I bet it costs like $3500

like I was saying not many options to upgrade the Diffuser, an AMG should have Nasty looking exhaust pipes and imho the C43's don't do this car justice.

Maybe they will come out with something eventually.
