Not at all. At the time he was trying to push down pipes, no C43 was making power on them. It would've been a waste of money to lose power.

If **** happens, **** needs to be handled. If not handled, deal with consequences. Not everyone has 1000 dollars lying around to throw at multiple downpipes as it breaks.

You should post up a list of all the models with the m276 motor that your downpipes are compatible with. Quite a few MB models now share this motor.
