AMR tune questions

Sorry if repost.

Anybody have any experience with the tune and winter driving? What's it like?

Also curious what people are getting for MPG's.

I got my tune last winter and it was phenomenal. The extra power is fun in the snow lol.

As far as gas mileage, I never really look at mine. I know it increases with the tune, however, I full throttle the car a lot more often now, so I doubt mine went up haha

What kind of tires you run in the winter?
Traction is good though, off the line and on high speed turns? Did you get to drive it in the winter before the tune? If yes, notice any big differences?

I ran the stock tires and had no issues. The tune is a very noticeable difference. The second you plug in the ECU it is like a whole different car...... and yes traction is good. Sometimes it will chirp tires when it changes gears It handles well, but it is still kind of iffy sometimes in high speed corners. This is natural, though, as it is still a Mercedes. It is a luxury boat with power lol

Same here. Stock all seasons with the AMR tune. No problems at all.

I ordered winter tires. I think its important if you live in a snowy winter climate. These cars are very much RWD favoured.

WAIT! The AMR tune doesn't enable the advanced winter mode in our cars?

That is the Stage 2 tune ... Their Stage 3 makes our cars hover over the snow so we do not need to worry about tires.
