Weistec tune?
Wondering if anyone has any experience or feedback on the ECU Tune that Weistec engineering offers? I read there ad recently which stated that the tune gives the C43, 400 Wtq which seems like a good number. I have not read of any board member having a Weistec Tune.
Thanks for any feedback in advance

im guessing their tune is a rebranded file from someone else, but I could be wrong. They are a good outfit and make some nice products. There are plenty of options for a tune on your car. Dinan has a new one out that maintains your warranty, AMR and OE are out there as well. Plenty of options.

Also you forgot to mention Renntech & Euro Charged. I am definitely looking into Euro Charged as there numbers are great and its only $999.

I have had the Weistec tune in my CLS63 for about 5 months, The results were pretty impressive. I ran a 11.657 RWD, street (all season) tires, at 5800 feet altitude. (9,000 ft DA) I had a issue with a plug fouling, not sure it was related, possibly could have been. I do agree with the comment that Weistec has less than stellar customer service skills, it seems you e-mail, then wait days, then e-mail and finally get a response. I did ship my ECU to them and it arrived back 3 days later, plugged it in and the difference was very noticeable. The price difference between them and Renn-Tech is considerable. The local MB authorized dealer here in town sells Weistec and are big supporters of it.

Well this is my dream car hopefully when it arrives monday or tuesday its in good shape. Matt comes pretty highly recommended and hoping it will be noticeable i might do down pipes if its easily reversible just in case for smog. I really want to get to about 625-650ish rwhp.

You have 6 years from the date of sale of any new car in CA to enjoy down pipes. If you are wanting 600whp are you doing turbo upgrades? Matt at AMR is awesome. He helped me every step of the way.
