This is after my first service/oil-change (10k) and the dealer's update.

This needs its own thread, cause what this just did is ***** slap every single full tune to the ground.

Yeah, I think it's essentially the same, but I start with a few less ponies; curious if the JB1 would get me the same total HP result or same HP increase. Either way, sub-12s is very impressive.

I notice you picked up a lot of top end. Do you think this is from the tranny update? I remember you saying previously that you thought the tranny was holding us back.

I'm sure it helped. 1st >2nd and especially 2nd >3rd are a lot smoother.

I figured cause we don’t even connect to the fuel rail. That’s where the green cable is supposed to go. Bora please take a look at my Map2 graphs if you get some time and tell me what you think. Will appreciate it!

According to the install guide, the green wire is for the C300 http://www.n54tech.com/flash_files/c300_c400_stage1.pdf
As for map2, it's a preset map with the boost values I posted before (per Terry) as long as you're getting consistent boost curve above 10-12psi and within 1/2 psi from request and you have good gas in the car, you should be good.

A) Rainbow wire patch, 3 positions. Connect to TMAP connection A.B) Green wire patch, 4 positions. Connects to fuel rail connection B. This sensor is optional andintended for those who plan to run E85 fuel mixtures. For all others it can be left tucked out of the way.C) Purple wire patch, 3 positions. Connects to camshaft sensor C.D) Brown wire patch, 3 positions. This is the most difficult to install connection and installs tothe pressure sensor on the intake manifold. We suggest leaving this connection tucked out of theway until we can update the guide with the directions for installation.

After 2 days of driving, I think it is getting close to yours. I am running 94 Oct. But its the winter mix. I think the summer mix is much better.

Amazing stuff you've done Bora, picking up my 18 c43 in a few days and already have a JB1 on order. Wish i could have waited for the 19's...

Haven't been around in a while.. So great job man! I figured you're car was in the 11's, just needed a track to open up.

You're just "Stage 1" piggyback, right? Cause I just saw in another thread that a guy with an AMR tune and just about every other power mod these cars have and he only hit like 11.8 I think. AND with lighter OZ wheels haha. Hopefully he's running at elevation or something

Oh and hows your launch at the track compared to the street? I spin a lot on the street but feel like i'd bog at the track with only the 2k rpm limit. Curious if you think the car has a 1.6x 60ft in it?

A 2000 rpm launch is more than enough to get the best possible launch. Just modulate enough to get 3/4 of boost in the boost bar.

My best 60' was 1.69 but that was before the software upgrade https://i.imgur.com/ifdLc3U.jpg the track was better prepped and a lot stickier. This time I was spinning @2krpm. I wen't a little over 2k on one of my runs and the tires spun a lot, then wheel hop and chirped 2nd.

My new set of summer tires just arrived from the Tire Rack, total weight savings is ~20lb .. but now I carry a 50lb front wheel in the trunk as a spare + a light jack and a wrench. The stock tires still look good with 10k miles on them, I'll just keep them for the winter.

Well its 20lbs of rotational mass. So it will definitely help a lot. I think you just made your car a 11.6 machine. Come on man! I am rooting for a 11.5 from you!

Just curious why you needed that wooden plank below your car jack?

We repaved the driveway not too long ago, I didn't want the jacks' wheels to dig in.

Today after work I made a last minute decision to head straight to the track. With around 1/2 tank of 93 octane and map2, just to get an idea what my normal DD map is capable of.

WOW! That's huge, man! You've just proven that the C43 on pump gas is an 11 second car. Great job

Pretty hilarious how consistent your runs were (and without launch control, no less). Seems to be the case more and more these days as the majority of cars are getting auto transmissions and AWD. Kinda takes the fun out of it since there's no challenge, eh?

So what's your take on downpipes? If you got them, do you think you'd be able to adjust any of the parameters in your tune to that would show a difference? I don't feel like the stock exhaust is all that restricting of airflow but I'd bet money that removing your cats could help your motor breath significantly better. Especially on the top end. Thoughts?

A downpipe should make the motor breath better and might give it another 10-15hp! but I don't have any plans to add one. I wouldn't remove the cats either, since the jb1 won't be able to remove the CEL or adjust any parameters.

Sine I no longer have run-flats, I bought a spare tire with a jack and tray, used.

Until the spare arrived, I kept one of my oem front tires (50lb) in the trunk with a socket/breaker bar and a borrowed jack from my other car. With the smaller/lighter spare, there is "plenty" of space left, but If I ever needed full trunk space, I can temporarily throw it inside a large garbage bag and shove it in the back seat.

AMG spare and tray

~30lb spare

Jack tray fits under

Better trunk space than oem tire
