Center caps?

Hey guys,

I have aftermarket wheels with a center cap that is different than stock MB. Any idea the name of this style as I want to find a set that look stock.

Thanks!

Very handsome wheel. It looks like the AMG split forged wheel.

measure both caps.. or even simpler why not just call the wheel manufacturer and ask them?

It's not the diameter that I don't know, it's the style. These are friction fit with that gasket
and are not as deep as the MB OEM clip-style. The OEM fit in the hole but bottom out
and don't clip and lock in place. I did though, I'm still waiting to hear back so I thought
somebody here might know. Thanks.

Stock wheels you need 15mm up front, 20mm rear, lowered H&R to give the perfect fit.

These on the other hand are off my CLA which makes things a little more challenging. They are 19" x 8.5 +40 offset
which means I have 20mm less clearance on the inside and extend 6mm further out than stock in the front. 15mm spacer they
fit fine but poke out about 5mm further than ideal so I'm just waiting for a set of 10mm spacers to get here to test as I
think I will have room to clear as I believe there is about 12mm space from the control arm to play with. It's close but
will give a nice flush look if it works.
For the rear, I have the same size wheels so fits fine, just going to add a 20mm spacer which gives me 26mm further
out than stock which should be just about perfect with it lowered. If it's too much, I'll use my 15mm spacers instead.

depends on tire, but with a nice full tire the 15mm is going to be where it's at. If the same stretch is present as the front spec shown, you may be able to do the 20's.

Nice! How did you end up putting the Mercedes centre cap back on?

I didn't, it's just sitting there not clipped in. I still have to find a solution. I think I'll just cut the clips
off the back and use some sort of sealant to fix it in, maybe contact cement or some sort of epoxy.

Please let me know if you figure this one out. The first picture you posted, is it the Mercedes one or the aftermarket one?

That first close-up pic of the center cap is the aftermarket, the OEM ones are simple plastic clip in ones.
