Take off Rev Limiter?

you dont want to do that, you will hurt your car.
Revving the engine excessively while the vehicle is not moving (regardless of neutral or park gear) is harmful to the engine. You are making the engine operate without enough air going into the engine because the car is not moving forward

Lol, guys, I don't think he wants to rev it past 6500-7000rpms. I would assume he's talking about the (annoying and lame as hell) 4000rpm limiter when in Neutral and park.
OP, I also would love to be able to remove this. I asked OE about it when they tuned my ECU but they couldn't remove it. I'm sure they or any other tuner could adjust this but they probably haven't had it requested enough from customers to think it's worth their time.
Hopefully someone has a solution soon cause I would LOVE to hear what my car sounds like @ 7k rpms in park. It sounds amazing when driving but you gotta love a good ricer-rev every now and again!

Well I didnt exaggerate anything, I just gave him the facts. Honestly though I think he WOULD want to rev it to the upper limit, since thats when the engine/exhaust sounds the best, which is the entire point of revving the engine.

OP is talking about the rev limiter in 'Park' or 'Neutral' not when you are driving. If you haven't tried this, you will see that you can not free-rev the engine past around 4,000rpm.
