Got in car. Radio won’t play

No mute isnt on. Everything is on from what I can tell. Just nothing coming out of speakers.
Anyone have this same problem?

The same thing happened to my car.
The dealer replaced the radio tuner, didn't work. Then replaced the whole COMAND system, didn't work. At the end, both needed replacing in order for it to work again. The whole job costed over $5000 for Mercedes. I dodged the bullet for having it repaired under warranty
It seems like a minor issue at first where the sat radio fails, then all sat related stuff fails (Sirius weather, traffic etc), ultimately the whole radio tab in COMAND fails.
I would advise you to take it into the dealer ASAP

Yep - had similar issue on month old c43 yesterday. playing bluetooth from iphone no issue including that morning. then notice no music. phone calls ok but screen showed “activating bluetooth audio”. seemed stuck like this. turn off/on car, deauthorised/reauthorised no luck. notice also the media interfaces where i had usb drive with music also not showing. getting anxious at this point. switched all off, got 3 phones all ready to prepare a mega complaint based on exhaustive troubleshooting and... turned on car and it acted like nothing happened! just started playing music from the phone again!

anyone tried to reboot your COMMAND?
if you hold down the disc eject button for about 7 seconds it should reboot it. I haven't tried this personally.

I've than this happen in several cars. When safe. Turn off the car. remove key. open drivers door, then close the door. Start car. It should work. On some cars one needs to get out ,lock the car walk far enough away so the car knows its off.. let the alarm set. ( give it a couple of minutes this is usually enough time to curse at your stupid freaking car) Then open car get in starter up and you should be OK. If not wait over night and take it to the dealer the next day.. except it may start working...
