Pictures of tinted C 43 windows wanted
Just picked up My C 43 on Friday and have an appointment for tint tomorrow. I would like to keep it legal, but still want a nice look.. My car is black with red leather interior. Please post the window tint percentage with your picture. Thank you!

You and me are basically the same person! I picked up my black with red interior sedan on Thursday and need to get windows tinted too!
Let me know which way you go.

I will most likely be keeping it legal. Don't want to hide that beautiful slaughtered out interior. Plus my CLA was very dark and I hated driving at night in certain scenarios. I will post after pictures on this thread regardless of which route I go.

Will post pictures perhaps tonight, but my film is between 15 and 20. They market it as 15% but it is more like 18%. I would not have gone lighter because I got the film more so for aesthetic reasons than heat reduction.
Night driving is fine especially in urban areas. Rural areas you won’t see too much out your window, but that’s kinda the way it is always.
Also, the whole legal thing, yes you can get dinged for it. I drive by at least one police officer and have never had any issues, I also do not have a front license plate at the moment. Those are more so at the police officer’s discretion if you are a tool when they pull you over.

My issue is driving in TX with CO plates. Even if I am following all road rules the tint is a catch all. If that cop just wants to pull me over the tint is a great excuse. Trust me been there done that and it was the only reason I was pulled over. So I didn't have the chance to be a dick and get extra infractions from the road pirates.

I agree just a little torn between Brilliant blue metallic and White. Both look amazing on MB. The only reason I got black was because I couldn't pass up the price, my CLA was 30 miles away from 50k couldn't be without a warranty. Got the dealer to pay off the neg equity on my CLA. Plus the Cranberry red leather made it a little more unique than just a black on black spec. Overall I am happy, just waiting on the call to pick it up from tint.

35% tint. IMO the best level - it looks dark at night and noticeable during the day. But when the sun is shining, you can see through it pretty well and most cops around here(NJ) don't give me a problem whatsoever, and they're normally VERY strict.

35% all around with 50% windshield. 3M Color Stable
the windshield 50% brings the 35% down to probably 25% ish looks if you didnt have windhsield done
I had 20% in the past and it was slightly too dark for me. This is perfect and will get this combo on every future car i own. also since you can still see inside to some extent, i dont have police trouble. Granted I live in a nicer area... so cops generaly arent looking for cars with tints as issues unless its an older beat up car.
freshly tinted next to a factory windshield privacy tint on lincoln continental.
just freshly tinted

the black headliner will darken the look as well, compared to a car with the same tint with a biege/grey headliner.
4 door with black headliner is perfect with ~30%. I always get my windshield done now too. I know it's illegal but it makes a bigger difference than any other single piece of glass and makes the front 3/4 angle look more alike.
