Need help with spacers

I just got 16’ c450 and want to put spacer untill i decide on new wheels. I have the 18” five spoke wheels right now. I did search this forum and i notice there is a lot confusion with what works or not.
I think I narrowed it down to what i want.
So i would like front 4-5mm and i saw 12mm H&R that suposed to work(link below if somebody can confirm)

My questions:
1.what 4-5mm spacer i can use for front. Im assuming it dont have to be hub centric since the orginal hub will still be exposed (please post a link)
2. Where can i get extended bolts and what sizes for front and back. Preferably black bolts.

Link to 12mm spacer
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...S.ShoppingFeed

Please post some links or point me in good direction.

It all depends on the look your looking for. I went with 20mm spacers all around. I’m running stock 19’s but my wheels and tires are flush to the body of the car.

I went with H&R spacers they also supplied the bolts an d you can ask for black. These spacers are hub centric! You want that!

I wouldn't go as high as 20mm on the front stock wheels, I had rubbing during high compression at 15mm so had to drop to 5.

what 5mm brand did you end up using??
Im not lowered so def 20mm is to much. I think 5/12 set up will be perfect.

Make sure your talking about 18s

Therefor spacers will be different also

ok so i guess thats what i hot for now. Eibach 5mm for the front and H&R 12mm special hub for the back.

Do you remember where did you get your bolts. ECS got them but i think those are R12 14x1.5 and i think mercedes need R14 14x1.5

sorry I didn't end up doing it because of the excessive wear on the stock tires.

I didn't want to give my dealer an excuse to replace tires if they **** the bad quickly

Alex.
being lowered means more camber, means you can pull off much more aggressive fitment. Stock height 20mm would stick out pretty far depending on tire.

The stock 18's have a more aggressive rear offset than the 19's, surprisingly enough. So a 10/12 would be max (preferably a 10 but can't remember if there was one that worked).

Ok so this is what i end up ordering. When inget everything i will confirm if everything works for somebody looking into it in future

FRONT
5mm spacer and R14 Ball seat 14x1.5x35mm bolts
https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Eibac...ir,325336.html

https://otisincla.com/product/m14x1-...m-zinc-plated/

BACK
12mm special hub spacer and R14 Ball seat 14x1.5x40mm bolts
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...pair/24556659/

https://otisincla.com/product/m14x1-...m-zinc-plated/

I was looking for black bolts but everything out there in 14x1.5 is R12/R13 whitch is Audi/VW bolts. Difrent Ball seat then R14. It would probably work but i want to be safe then sorry. I end up ordering those black covers for now or i will just powercoat the head of the bolts.

When I got my aftermarket wheels installed a couple weeks ago, I had problems with road vibrations at speeds 65+ with 5mm spacers or at least that's what the shop told me they were. So I had it replaced with 3mm spacers on a 19x8.5et35 wheel and my clearance with the control arm is about 2-3mm at best but no rubbing...or very very very minimal at worst on upramps

Can get various sizes of correct fitment black bolts from here - though it looks like they only ship within Europe.

I assume that's the front? What's your setup front and rear? Looks nice and flush.
