Keep it at home...
Keep the C43's at home tonight, don't need some inebriated moron crashing into your prized possession, just not worth it. It is never the same afterwards, and when January 1st arrives your car will be flawless.
Take the bus!

a few days ago, i parked in a hotel parking lot, there's plenty of empty spaces. this porsche suv parked next to me, parked pretty close to my car too.
any reasons why some #$%#@ #@ like to park next to other car when there's plenty of empty spaces around ?

Either they don't want their car to be lonely, cannot think for themselves and find a different spot or they want to spite you parking close. People like this bug me to no end.

At least yours is in public. People at my office do this when I choose a far spot with lots of spots around. The dude parks his 2005 Odyssey next to me.

In a crowded lot I'll park the Benz next to other nice cars. Thought being that someone in another luxury car would be more inclined to be careful with their doors than some idiot in a multi-colored 1992 Honda Accord...

A guy I know owns a 911 Porshce and when people would park literally next to his car when he would park in remote empty places, he would key their key as he was leaving. Hilarious ****.

I hate it when people do this, I swear it's on purpose.

I park always needing an extra ~5 min walk. I figured I get some more exercise in and I "reduce the probability" of some a-rsehole from denting my car. It wont guarantee but it reduces your odds.
Always get surprised when I see a nice car parked so close in a shopping centre. Everyone now drives mini buses ie SUV and with careless kids those doors are always going to be flung open.

a few years ago when i double park to drop off my dad, he flung open the door and bang the parked car. the parked car behind me honk at me.
now when i double park to drop off my dad, i double park farther away from the parked car.
also he doesn't look for incoming car when open door to enter. Now i just go outside the car and open / close the door for him.
