What did you pay for your Service B?

Taking my 2017 C43 Sedan in for the 2 year Service B in a few weeks. Was a lease assumption so the previous owner did the Service A.

What have people been charged for their 20K Service B? No idea if I'm looking at $200 or $2000. $450 rings a bell, but I can't remember if that was an estimate for Service A or Service B!

Maybe just send an anonymous request to a few service centres in your country to get a ball park idea?

I don't use MB - I use a shop that does MB exclusively - and has all former MB certified mechanics. They charge me typically 199.00 - 250 for Service B. Oil change is 89.00. Mercedes rips you off on everything

Definitely not $2k. I think most Service B prices are in the range you specified, $450-ish. I've seen some specials by dealers in the $350-$399 range, but probably nothing lower than that unless you go to a MB specialist (non-dealer). You can search for one in your area here: www.benzshops.com

Great stuff! Thank you!

I will call my local dealer to get a quote and, if it sucks, I’ll hit that Benz site to find an independent!

If you take your MB to an Autonation dealer make sure they use original equipment M-Benz parts. My local Autonation dealer had the nerve to install an off brand "AutoNation" oil filter and still charge over $350.00 (with a coupon) for the "A" service. Disgusting !

Ironically, I just got mine done yesterday. Went to a local place that specializes on Euro cars, and of course all OEM parts etc. Was $470. The dealer quoted me $675. Hell yea I'm going to save $200...

Didn't do the "B" service yet but I plan a meeting with the Service Manager and suggesting that he do a complimentary " B " service to compensate for his violation of the Mercedes Benz Dealer Agreement which stipulates the use of Genuine Mercedes parts at Mercedes dealer service departments.
Any class action attorneys out there ??

Wow that really happened? That is 90% the only reason people take their cars to the dealers -- for OEM parts/reassurance...
