Hi, this is Mat and I recently bought a 2019 C43 Coupe and had a question that I was scratching my head.
When I first stepped in the car, my 12.3 digital cluster showed the front headlight image and allowed me to choose the dynamics setting (Sport, Sport +...ETC) before I started my car

but now when I unlock and go in my car, it just says "do not forget key" and can not change the setting before starting my engine.

does anyone have a clue what I did wrong?

I have the same issue. Would like further clarification. Are you up on your MercedesMe?

o wait so the 2019s you don't have to double press the ignition to put it in sport plus to get the louder startup?

Let me checks, but I don't think so. I have yet to start in sport +. Still am wondering what is the cause.

1. Push the start engine button with you foot off the brake.
2. Select sport+ mode.
3. Put your foot on the brakeand push start engine

When you start the C43 2019 the exhaust valves (with AMG Performance Exhaust) are open for maybe a minute or so automatically and then if you leave it alone and stay in 'comfort' the valves close. Of course if during that time you press the exhaust button on the console or go to sport or sport+ it changes accordingly.

Unfortunately, this still doesn't explain why some of us have lost our silhouette at start up.

The only time I can get it to show the little silhouette display is if I get in the car, shut the door and then wait for the digital dash to turn off. Then, when I hit the start button, the silhouette comes up and does its little show before going to the gauges.
