2019 c43 wireless charging?

HI all. I have a 2019 Mercedes c43 with wireless charging pad. I have two iPhones (X and Plus) and neither seem to work with it? Is there an issue or a setting?

Any help is appreciated!

Mine works fine with X. This could be a long shot, It wouldn't be the type of case you are using.

Have you turned NFC on your phone on?

This is a problem that seems to come up on the crApple products when trying to use certain wireless chargers. After all, Apple is still new to the whole wireless charging thing, and they haven't quite caught up to the other manufacturers on this new-fangled, years old tech that no one else seems to have trouble with.

Make sure you are on the latest update for iOS (11.2 and later required for fast charging). Restart your phone. If still not working, do as others have suggested and remove the case (Apple used smaller coils in their phones and can only handle 7.5w max, and don't have quite the "reach" that the other manufacturers have). Oh, and if your iPhone is already at 80% battery or higher, the iOS 12 software reduces the charging wattage (sometimes below the range of the wireless charger wattage) to "protect" the battery from overheating.

You only need to turn the NFC on if you want to use Carplay and/or want to patch into the cars cell antenna to boost reception range, as it has no impact on whether the wireless charging works or not.

Is not standard in the U. S. It's actually a pretty cheap option.
