There's this old adage that fat people should wear vertical stripes not horizontal - as to help elongate their figure, and vice versa. Skinny/tall people should wear horizontal stripes to help widen their appearance.

This car already has a narrow appearance, IMO. Something about this panamerican grille on the 43 without the wider fenders from the 63 and especially without being lowered just makes the car look less sporty IMO.

I personally think it looks great. I would also like to see a full view but overall great looking.
I would also like to know where you purchased it? and how difficult it was to install/ what was involved?

I just bought the same grill for my 2019 C43 Sedan.

Mine came with an AMG badge if you didn't get one I saw them on eBay.

I haven't installed mine as yet it only arrived yesterday.

I'm also keen to hear about the install. Do you have to remove the bumper?

I am torn on the idea. I think it looks badass, but there is a part of me that thinks it’s now a poser car. Trying to make it look like a higher end AMG when it’s not.

I have the prefacelift 43 and bought the 19 facelift grill cuz I think it looks the best, our car is too narrow for the GT grill, it needs a wider fender for it to look great

I prefer the look of the old AMG style grill our cars have anyway; but even Mercedes have thrown this logic out the window. They have given the panamericana grill to the new GLE 53, which by your standards isn't a higher end AMG model and MB has said they plan on putting it on all future AMG cars anyway.

You still need an AMG badge on it in my opinion. And where did you get that grill? It looks cool. But I would rather get one with AMG badge.

I notice your grille here has 14 vertical pieces where as all the ones I see for sale for the facelifted c43 only have 12 (including the other one pictured in this very thread).

I would very much like to get one just like yours (14 vertical black stripes) for my 19 c43. I also have the camera, so basically I would like exactly what you bought. Can you share a link?

Did you find what you wanted? I just bought one off ebay with 12 bars + AMG logo on it. Once it's fitted I'll post pics

Was wondering if anyone has tried installing the pre-FL C63 gtill onto their C43? I know they are similar looking but the pre-FL C63 is slightly more aggresive

i think it looks okay, but what throws it off are the vertical and horizontal lines - due to the corner grills... I think thats whats getting to me... Its like a wearing a tie and shirt that are both going different directions haha.. obviously the 63s dont have both horizontal and vertical lines?
