Anyone run 235/265 on OEM 19's?
As the title reads, does anyone run one size up from the stock specs? As I'm preparing to purchase non-runflats, I wanted to go up in size (width) wise. I know it's not recommended because of the wheel width but I know it's been done before and stock e46's came with 235/265 on 7" width wheels. I'm not trying to mod the car (suspension/wheels), I just want to update the tires to non-runflats and figured maybe a size up would help and also reduce the fender gap a bit.
Just wanted feedback and see if others have done it yet and how it looks. Thanks!

I run 265s on the rear on my stock setup with no problems. My fronts are still 225 however I'm sure if 265 works at the rear 235 would work at the front as well. I'll take a picture shortly to show you how it looks stretched onto the 265.

Oh ya sorry, I'm not recommending it, just that it could be done without problems. I just ordered a new set of michelins for summer and I stayed at 255 in the rear. Don't like stretching the tire for no reason.

it also depends on the tire. those winter tires are a little skinnier than a normal 265. if you go with a michilin tire, they run wider. they are almost a size up. stick with 255 on the 8.5j wheel with 225 to match in the front.

Thanks for the pics! I'm still on the fence and perhaps the width and contact patch of a 255 ps4 vs 265 ps4 is negligible at the end of the day. I've always ran 265 tires and up in my past cars so maybe it's my conscious telling me to go that route. haha
