just want to share by pleasant experience of removing both rez on my C43, for the non-pe car... the car SOUNDS amazing,

They did a custom Y from the middle pipe that was going to the 1 rez after the cats. to the muffler. ill send a picture once i get one BUT,

RECOMMEND to anyone i wouldnt even take a armyrtrix of 3000$ free now, i have loud BANG when shifting sports +, pop and crackles just like PE. costed me 500$ Canadian money so roughly 400$ US
the job was welded to make sure everything is well done. when i start the engine by cold start is super rowdy.

Title says cat delete, post says resonator delete. Which did you remove?
Resonator delete will typically give you lots of drone.

 

You mean you cut both the cats? Because we only have one resonator. If you did cut the cats, how did you take care of the CEL without further modifications?

Those 2 are rez.

 

Wait, a 2017 has 2 resonators for non PE? Could that be that the 450 has louder pops and bangs? My exhaust had one resonator.

 

nevermind, i had 1 and deleted it. Bought the car with 12k on it and thougjt the 2nd one was deleted, anyhow i deleted it and sounds crazy now.

I dont have clamp now it got welded into place,

its been couple months now and still LOVE the sound of it now, heard a couple of p-e exhaust and this is pretty close when you didnt get p-e option

want to make my c450 louder. i was thinking about leave the 2 mufflers packs in the back and removing the resonator. i was just gonna buy this piece cut the resonator out and have a shop weld this on. what do you guys think anybody done this idea already?

 

thanks for the post. did it throw any codes? Also, is this a reversible mod? I am not planning to keep mine very long.
