Paint chipping off the exhaust

I went to dealership every summer to replace them (replaced twice now) since it’s still under warranty. They said it’s caused by the degrease of car washing. I doubt that! I think it’s cold weather start. The moisture and temperature change make it brittle to chip off. This summer I will use the paint to cover it up.
This is not the worst part. The black window trims are the nightmare. They all defected and like the purple grease on it. Can’t be cleaned. So mad by their quality.
