I used to sell GPS systems many years ago. Lots of people would come back saying their system is no good, it took them the wrong way. I'd ask, "how do you know, did you get to your destination in the end", they's reply "yes, but it didn't go the way I expected". The truth is, sat-nav is human, it the route it takes might seem really weird, but unless it's actually faulty, it will always get you where you need to go. Typically when people complain about their GPS, they are using it to take them to destinations along routes they already know and complaining if it wants to use a diferent route.
