GLE 43 AMG
Tune for 43
first day on here so sure I'm doing it wrong! I know this is the C43 forum but was hoping to get some input on what the best tune for get 40+ horsepower out of a GLE43 for around $500-$700. Have heard JB4 and then more expensive ones such as REN and OE. Also, anyone ever heard of a chip tune company called Race Trip?
Many thanks in advance!

OP, hope you're "with it" enough to consider this persons experience is an outlier and squeaky internet wheels are always the loudest. No tuner bats 1.000, but the JB4 is about the lowest risk option while also capable of blowing a lot of the other full flash tuners out of the water. You can keep it as simple as you'd like by using their predetermined maps, or go crazy and get in to the weeds tweaking. It's never any more complicated than you want it to be. The logging and monitoring alone is worth the price and the people who are really pushing the limits are stacking it on top of their flashes for monitoring and fine tuning. 30k miles laid down, hundreds of digs and rolling pulls, and never a peep out of the car with exception of the exhaust farts and pops.

I had a full tune on a '17 c43... I chose a JB4 for my '18. It's an excellent option. Simple to install and remove with great results. The ability to log and switch maps with the app (which requires the wireless kit and app which will run you a few extra bucks) is great also!

I’ve had the JB and now the Racechip. For the money, the Racechip is better bang for the buck. You get great performance and have leftover cash to spend on making your Benz look better. Unless your constantly mashing the pedal 7 days a week, you won’t notice the difference between the JB and RC. As for the Dinan.. the company is far more superior than all of them, but I wouldn’t buy anything for my MB from a company that primarily makes things for BMW’s. Go with the RaceChip and if you don’t have a cool air intake, get yourself the new and updated MST! It’s the best on the market!
