Hey all,
Wondering if anyone could tell me if the white front lip on a lot of the black C43s is a factory option? Or is that aftermarket/just painted? I've actually tried to find the answer online but couldn't find anything.

Looks original to me. It’s silver.

In the US when you get the car without night package it comes with that brushed aluminjm lip instead of black as well as the brushed aluminum in the front air vents. I call them whiskers not sure the proper name

I believe it is called a splitter. It is actually three parts. Yes - that silver is OEM. My old C43 came that way.

And to further complicate the issue it depends on color of car. With night package prev poster is correct that splitters is black as is that lowest side trim piece on the rockerr panel, EXCEPT with certain paint options, example with Designo Cardinal Red the splitter and lowest side trim piece is same color as car and not black. I thought mine wasn't painted correctly and dealer dug into the order guide to find that it was.
Want to change them, go to www.sutomotivetouchup.com, get a spray can the color you want and paint them. Both are held on with strong double face tape and you can use a hair dryer to remove, then paint and re-install. New tape is avail at Home Depot, it's the 3m with the Red protective peel off backing.

Does anyone know if the lip (or 3 pieces of the lip as mentionned above) can be easily removed without taking the whole bumper off? I plasti dipped the 4 silver 'wiskers' David mentioned above because they are easily removable and I hate the silver colour. My next step was the bottom lip but with winter here I couldn't get around to laying under the dirty car to see if they can be removed. Much easier to dip/wrap it off the car rather than on, so I was curious if anyone had done this.
