I currently own less than 40K miles 2013 BMW E92 M3 ZCP package coupe, but there's a lot of good deals out on a new car out there.

Any input of people here who own or used to own an AMG.
I'm looking at 2019-2020 C43 AMG sedan w/ exhaust package. It's currently the same price as a use 2017 F80 which is crazy.

I love my E92 but man the C43 AMG looks and sounds nice and have the new technologies.

Any input would be great.

Honest opinion: E92 is the ugliest M3, but it is better than the C43. Unless you are getting a C63, keep the M.

I came from a E60 m5 to a c43 amg. I would suggest you to do it expecting a little loss on hp. At the end I don’t regret it because the c43 amg is a overall balanced car that will most likely satisfy your needs.

I had a 11 M3 zcp w/dct. Dinan ecu, pulley, intake, borla exhaust and active auto hfc x pipe. The M3 is faster. Drives and handles much more aggressive. The c43 has a lot more luxury and awd utility. Still a fun fast car that can be slightly modded. I know my M3 got like 10mpg around town. The c43 is much better on gas. As far as the comment of it being ugly. That’s crazy. I had blk/red coupe. Carbon fiber roof, spoiler and front splitter. Drilled rotors are the way around. Gorgeous factory 19” rims with fat tires. The sound. The car sounded like a race car and on top speed the c43 will not touch it. I did 178mph in that car. The c43 is not doing that. Period.

Keep the 2013 m3, it's gonna be the last V8 m3 ever. EVER. Hold onto it.

Agreed. If you have the garage space, just keep the M3 and add something new to the stable.

It would be a shame to replace the M3 with a new C43. Totally different league. Why not keep the M3 and get the C43?

C43 Pro: nicer interior, more reliable (because newer), suspension for daily drive...

C43 Cons: Oh you are going to miss the hydraulic steering more than the V8. MB old Infotainment is trash so I'd suggest you wait until 2021 until MB brings C-class up to date. suspension for track.

The M car is worth keeping. C43 is a nice car but nothing special. C63 would be a more appropriate comparison. As for the tech, true enthusiasts don't buy cars because of "infotainment" systems.

Keep the M3 (but remember to replace the rod bearing).

The C43 is not as good as the E92 M3. For a daily drive it is OK, but on the track, it is really heavy and understeers a ton.

If you get rid of that E92 M3 for a C43, I'm going to reach through this screen and smack you back into January so you can re-live this COVID-19 nonsense all over again.

Also it being a 2013 makes it very rare in terms of E92's. Most V8 M3s on sale are pre 2010 models.
