Any tunes that can’t be traced at the service center?

I had a JB4 a couple of weeks ago to this day I don’t notice a tad bit difference. Now my question is does anyone know of a tune or a piggyback that can’t be traced at the service center. The car is a lease but I just want to have more fun than what the car comes with. Something I’ve been seeing is Eurocharged anyone know how good that is?

I’ll stand on my JB4 soapbox and ask what you actually did with your JB4...the only reason you should be noticing “not a tad bit difference” is if you just plugged it in and did nothing. What year is your car? What maps did you test? What fuel are you running? Where are you located?

My car is a 2020 C43. I had the right files downloaded for 2020 firmware. Since I didn’t feel a difference in power I changed the maps and still nothing. I tried all of them nothing at all. I’m running 93 octane. I’m located by NY.

This is an a-typical result... did you contact BMS for assistance? Do you have the BCM?

In short, all tunes are detectable in one way or another. All flash tunes being the easiest, piggy backs being the toughest because they’re removable and allow the most plausible deniability. If something goes wrong and MB suspects you’re tuned, they’ll turn over all the rocks to prove it.

Interesting, my car is also a 2020 C43 which I have also added a JB4 piggyback to.
There is definitely a difference between stock and JB4. This is certain.

Not sure what problem (or problems) you are experiencing... but you (or your car )are definitely experiencing one to be claiming "I don’t notice a tad bit difference".

No way, if you don’t feel a difference with a JB4 on your C43, means you’ve probably got something wrong with the set up.

Exactly. Post up a log on map0 and map2 and lets see what is going on there! Do you have our BCM? That is also suggested for 2019+ models.

^^^ That willingness to provide service is what ultimately made me pull the trigger on JB4 + BCM. I'm excited to get it in a couple of weeks.

My email is ArslanFarooq03@hotmail.com
If you could please send me a file of your guys performance with the JB4. Preferably people with a 2020 c43.

You should post your log on Map0 and Map2, or send to BMS for analysis.

You should be able to see if Map2
is making any improvement just by seeing the graph.

If you go from stock to Map 2 and don't notice a difference then your car probably has coronavirus or something.

Honestly, your best chance is the JB4. Tunes are an automatic detection. A JB4 at least gives you a chance. If MB decides to check on a blown motor or some other high level failure, there is nothing that any aftermarket company can do to improve performance that they can't detect. Even if you take it off. I'm not going to elaborate. It's beyond easy. Even a JB4. I am in IT, have been for 32 years, and if I worked for Mercedes and had access to all their sensors, I could tell you if a JB4 or any other piggyback was on the car within seconds of it being started up and idled in a parking lot, before you ever put it in drive, right after you install it. If they wanted to pay the fee to whatever company allows internet access, they could report it from the middle of BFE, without you having ever been to a dealer. If they look hard enough, if they want to look hard enough, there's nothing you can do that they can't detect.

You pay to play and you cross your fingers that nothing major happens, or if it does, that they don't look too hard.

If they wanted, and they were inventive enough, they could find every single modded car, every single time, no matter what anyone did to try to prevent it. It's always pay to play.
