I experimented with both intakes like @TModelle and ended up sticking with the BMS. I think it sounds better than the MST, which I think has a louder gurgling sound. I noticed more throttle response on the highway with both intakes; i'm not sure which one is really that much better but if I had to bet it would be the BMS. I think the BMS looks like it would pull in more air. I haven't cleaned it yet so i'll cross that bridge when I get there.
I also closely monitored the IAT on my JB4 with both and didn't notice a difference at all.
Most people get the MST because they don't want to cut that plastic engine cover so they convince themselves the MST is better. I don't think it is.

The key thing is that the turbos are pulling in air from the intakes at a very high rate at high rpms and strangely a lot of people don’t understand this, thinking instead that air is somehow being pushed in. They’ve got it the wrong way around. For this very reason one can see plainly that the BMS design has much less restriction than the MST or the stock air box. For absolute air intake flow, BMS is the superior design. It will give you maximum horsepower compared to the rest. However, that doesn’t make it the best all rounder, and we know this as well.

dont matter what intake u go with as far as performance your temps.always going be higher and idle .. all comes down to if your intercooler is efficient enough .... i did it for looks and blow off sound.
