I'm actually thinking about one when they come out. It will take a while for performance upgrades sadly. For the near future, maybe even a couple years, that platform won't be in the same league as the C43, even when MB moves to the 4 cylinder C43. The one thing that can be assured though is that it won't have all the squeaks and other issues the C43 has. Not sure about buying a first year car though. I have never done that and am definitely leery of starting it now, but damn it looks good.
Tbh I have a rdx and I think that shawd is superior to 4MATIC (correct me if I’m wrong guys but that’s just what I’ve felt and think from me driving both c43 and rdx (which has the type r engine)) but yeah AMG needs to give us 4MATIC+ if they wanna have better handling then shawd tlx v6

Acura actually ranked 28/30 in consumer reports reliability for 2019. Also ranked in the bottom for JD Power rankings for 2019.
If I'm going Japanese luxury, Lexus is miles ahead. Sure they might not have a car that matches the Type S at the moment but for reliability & service, Lexus takes the cake.
I was debating between C43, M340i & Type S (before they announced the engine specs) and I'm glad I chose the C43. Acura's interior is nice but not on the same level as MB.

C43 is a 4000 pound car (3970) roughly and the fact that I’m doing 11.9-12 quarter miles with just a tune on 94 pump gas is ridiculous only if this car was a bit lighter and had 4MATIC+ but w downpipes I’m expected to drop that by 11.7 quarter mile lawls
Lexus and Acura is not in the same league. Even with the updates, Acura always looks dated to me. Back end looks ok, front just looks like a mid model refresh, side profile sucks almost like they forgot it. Its a Honda.
The C450/C43 is already like 5yrs old now. By the tie the TLX comes out, it wont be a W205 C43 anymore. It will be a W206 C53 or whatever the case may be.
