Mercedes C43 AMG estate
Good evening guys !
I'm quite new here in this forum, and please consider that my english is not so far as good than yours because it's a french AMG passionate talking to you !
I've joined your forum because there is not people really passionated like you in France ! And I did have a lot difficulties to find some pics to help me to tuned my brand new C43 amg estate.
Firstable, I would like to present me. Like this, you would be able to guess how I wanted my car to be and how I wanted to get it better !
So nice to meet you everyone, it's Bryan talking from Haute Savoie, in the Alps mountains !
I've just bought my C43 amg estate in December, 2019. And because of the Corona virus, I did not explore the massive possibilities of this beauty car !
Before this, I owned a 2014 S3 sportback 300hp 2.O TFSI for three years. So, I let you imagine how it changes me to own this kind of estate car !
The first thing I did, is to buy a new set of HF3 19 inch, Satin black. And following this, I asked to one of my friend to paint the chrome parts in gloss black tint.
So following my comments, you will discover a C43 estate AMG 367hp, V6 twin Turbo with 4 wheels drive.
It's à 2016, December T-modell with 9 speeds gearbox.
I show you here the result just after painting it :
The first question that comes to my mind is :
"What do you think about it ?". Actually, I'm not totally satisfied of it... !
To my mind, this kind of break is really to wise (discret ?), I want it more agressive !
So i'm wondering if I have to set H&r Spring (-30mm) on it, and maybe change the grill for a full Black "Panamericana GT grill" ?
Oh, one last thing... coming in the next months, red paint calipers with black amg stickers.
If you need more pics to get your own idea, or if you want to ask me question about anything... Do not hesitate ! It would be an absolute pleasure to answer you guys.
So please, please, please, share with me the different ideas you have to make it more bestial ! I'm sure you will help me to make it even better !
Have a nice end of weekend,
Bryan

Welcome to the forum, Bryan! Great looking wagon you’ve got there.
Id definitely suggest a drop to make it look more aggressive. I just installed H&R springs on my 2019 wagon and it makes a big difference (post #7: https://mbworld.org/forums/c450-c43-...g-spacers.html)
Also a black panamericana front grill to complete the look.
Curious, what specs are your Vossens? I have a set of 20” bronze HF3s coming next week so just want to compare.

I've just seen your pics and wondering if you bought the standard H&R springs that lowered your car from 30mm ? Or did you bought the adjustable one to make it lower from front than rear ?
Can you also share one pic of your new Black Panamericana grill ? Would be so nice !
To complete your question, here is the size I bought on the direct Vossen website :
HF3 satin black
- Front : 8,5 x 19 5x112
- Rear : 9,5 x 19 5x112
I'm a huge fan of the spec ! But If I would have to make again, I'd choose a 20inch set. And it's where you're right. Actually, I now think that 19inch wheels are too small for a station wagon.
Well... Here in Alps Mountains, I can say to you that it's maybe better to get smaller rims to attack Mountains pass ahah...

They’re the standard H&R sport springs (wagon specific) not the adjustable ones. I honestly don’t see the point in getting the adjustable ones unless you’re looking to dump the car. I personally like the one finger gap I’ve got.
What offset did you go with on your HF3s? What size tires?
I don’t yet have the panamericana front grill. Still waiting on it :/

Yeah, definitely understand your point.
I've just measured the gap in the front and the rear and would be maybe more difficult with the vossen rims. I've got 3cm in the front and 5cm in the rear. Will look maybe weird... don't really know what to do for the moment.
Would it be possible for you to share a pic in this post of the new set you will install ? Like this I would be able to see what it looks really with standard springs.
To answer your last question, here you find the tires sizes of my summer set :
Michelin Super Pilot sport 4s
- Front 225/40 19 (93Y)
- Rear 255/35 19 (96Y)
Tires are really nice, maybe latter I will try the Hankook Ventus S1 evo2

Oups... ! I did miss to answer you to this... Sorry !
In fact, the guy from the factory ordered me +25 front and +45 rear. Even if in front it's not huge, it's makes an impressive change from the OEM MBZ rims.

New update for my C43 wagon guys.
I listened to people's advice concerning lowering my car and got the H&R -30mm springs. Such amazing !
(I see questions coming and... Yes, it changes absolutely the road sensations. Harder suspensions, especially in Sport + mode). But still no comparaison with the stock spring. The spec is definitely much more amazing. And to me, the car's comportement is really increased (Talking here about estate version).
Find here some pics !
H&R Springs, -30mm (Bought on eBay)
Here, springs installed with stock winter AMG wheels (19inch)
Best spec IMO ! Vossen wheels HF3 satin black (19inch) such amazing to me
See how it looks from the rear...
Changed also the chrome emblems in glossy black
Also a new update, homemade black painted diamond grill. I think it gives something more aggressive to the car (please compare to my older pics on top)

^ Looks fantastic! Love the estate in light colours. How's the ride on the KW HAS? Been thinking about switching from H&R fixed springs to get a bit more height in the front. Not sure if it's worth it, but your drop looks perfect. I feel mine is a bit on the low side.
