(Sneak Peak!) Logos Engineering Motorworks Presents: Valved H-pipe,true dual exhaust
We heard what some of our platform base wanted and we are excited to showcase our latest offering. We are proud to announce the 1st ever H-pipe true dual exhaust for the c400/C43/c450 on the North American market with valves. This will be a true dual setup like the performance exhaust with a H-pipe crossover in the same spot the Performance exhaust has. This will provide a deep, exotic, guttural sound and helps in balancing exhaust pulses for a truly aggressive but mature sound profile. We expect to offer this at the super competitive price of $1,950 for the complete setup.
Expected release Window : End of March or early April 2021
This exhaust will mimic a resonator delete design on the performance exhaust and will feature the following specs:
> 304 stainless steel design all throughout
>8.5mm thick welds joining all pipe sections for bullet proof construction
>beautiful brushed finished
>OEM "accordion" with mesh overlay flex sections as opposed to the usual braided steel
>First ever electronic control over the valves (as opposed to using the vacuum line as seen on other setups). This provides easier installation.
>JB4/ piggyback friendly as it features a static on/off setting for the valves and does not occupy the obd2 port for valve control.
> Highly competitive price point that leaves room for your other mods
> price includes a voucher for 50$ off our current ultra high flow catted downpipes or 100$ off our Monster 3" inch catted downpipes (available fall 2021 or earlier).
(The discount is only offered to the original purchaser)
We decided to do a static on/ off control system as it offered to free up the OBD2 port for piggy back users. We felt this offered the best of both worlds for those who want that option and keeping costs down and passing it over to you.
We have a prototype on a car and will be sharing video clips soon. In the meantime here is a blury-on purpose studio shot of the product (we are still putting the finishing touches on some things, so dont want to release the final pic yet).

Hey Folks! wanted to give a decent update to this thread. Unfortunately because of some COVID related precautions and delays, our shop has been deadlocked and everything has been pushed up 2 to 2.5 months behind release date schedule. Without getting into details, its better safe than sorry for everyone that is involved with production and shipping, etc. I myself also have had some personal illness related issues arise that pulled me away from posting for a bit. We are still on track to release, but its looking more like end of July or beginning of August. I know some of you have been chomping at the bit and asking for updates so i wanted to give something worthwhile. Here are some pictures of the revised mufflerbox so you can see the quality of the mufflers and also the cool remotes for the system, including a sound-clip of a cold start and revs.
Please please please use headphones and listen to it loud so that you can hear the guttural rumble of the setup, also note that the donor car has OEM c63 valence, but its not a c63.
As a business its better safe than sorry with the safety and well being of our employees and families.

Sorry to hear about the illness, and I hope all is well now!
The sound clip was good. Also, I like the Logos plate. Just curious if you guys have drive tested in sport plus, were there pops and burbles? Really nice set up for the price I feel so I'll wait to place my order. I thought about the FI exhaust for a brief time but man its hard to pay $3000.

That sounds wonderful! Please tell me we can get something like this for the GLC 43 platform that does not have PE. Please, please! I'm guessing this with 200 CEL race cat downpipes would sound like the cat's meow!

@paj The ECU ultimately has the final say with overrun (burbles)and the exhaust has no bearing on it other than enhancing the sound.
@1SickGLC The tester car had to take off the high flow catted DP (3" monster pipes prototypes) that it already had and install the stock ones. This is in order to record a neutral baseline for reference. With our 3" monster DP's and this exhaust: its the most deep, exotic, unique sounding v6 that has to be heard to be believed. It almost sounds like a small displacement V8.
We are currently evaluating the GLC market, (our upcoming intercooler and intakes will fit the GLC), exhaust components are to be determined after we release the majority of the c43 items.
Thanks all for the positive comments!, all good things come to those who wait: better to release a quality product that's up to our workmanship and design specs as opposed to rush something out the door.

Folks, wanted to resurrect this thread from the dead and give an update.
YES the exhaust is still on track to come out, but we hit 2 issues and one has been resolved.
#1 the supplier to the accordion flex joints, has run out of raw materials to produce the flex joints and we are waiting to get them in stock. We DO NOT want to go with the run of the mill braided steel flex joints and are determined to these in.
#2 as seen in the blurry picture we were going to go with the straightest possible design for the exhaust, but there was a catch to this. Making very very straight pipes directly from the catalytic converter, introduces drone at certain rpms. Since these frequencies are free to "run wild" with a super straight path, we tweaked our design yet again toward the back after the cross over.
We took a page out of OEM manufactures and introduced strategically placed smooth radius curves into the exhaust path. You see: introducing these breaks up the high frequency harmonics flowing through the pipes, so the sound hits a smooth curve and cancels out at certain angles. As a matter of fact, the standard AMG sports exhaust has a giant tight loop/ curve inside the muffler to execute this principal.
We are just designing it over a longer transition towards the back as seen in the shop drawing below.
Our new iteration has a smoother sound with this new setup. The car in the video actually has this new revision on, but its more noticeable at load and at highway speeds. If we are going to delay the release why not make it better?
Also: our intercooler and charge pipe kit will be set to hit by beginning of August
and Also: our Front air intakes continue to be developed and we will open pre order's sometime end of July
Save your pennies and and dimes! we have some great stuff coming your way.

Hello folks,
There will be an official "development thread" on this tomorrow. We wanted to be first in the world to come up with something unique and never ever really done before (no really, its never been done on a European car before).
We had to scrap the mold, (actually we sold it to a UK company and they will be bringing it out to market under their private label ), but we have something truly exciting coming up, better than our original idea! please make sure to subscribe to our development thread for updates.
