Facelift exhaust valve bypass/delete

Facelift exhaust valve bypass/delete
Has anyone tried Burger tuning exhaust valve bypass /delete plugs on a facelift c43? These would open the valves 100% of the time. They only list one model but other companies have different parts for 2017-2018 vs facelift models due to apparent changes MB made to the signal there. For example both renntech and ASR modules are different for facelift vehicles. I don’t want to buy it but then end up in limp mode 🙂
thanks!

Renntech and ASR send a signal for opening or closing the valves on demand. Bypass/Delete plugs are for when you want to disconnect the valves entirely without the car detecting an issue.
Apparently, when the car shuts down the valves open up. Thus, when you shutdown the car and install the module it won't receive the signal to close. The valves will stay in the opened position persistently.

Thanks, yes I’m familiar with how the plugs work. Some people with facelift C63’s were having issues with AWE exhaust valve plugs causing the car to go into limp mode it seems. Pre facelift worked without issue. Just wondering if anyone can confirm if there are valve bypass plugs that work on the facelift c43 specifically.

Cant this be done for free? a local guy did this for free on his car.
disconnect the kuester actuator from the exhaust
disconnect the actuator from the wiring
tuck and route the wiring back into the trunk next or near to the kristonics valve computer.
reconnect the actuators and secure them/ tape them down so they wont flop around. This will ensure no error code because its still technically connected.
done.
your actuators will still work or do their thing inside the trunk because the car still thinks its connected, but whatever. Now your exhaust flap is open 100% of the time for free.
the kristonics unit is under the carpeted section of the trunk

never tried it myself either, I also don't know 100% how it was done so I decided to get ASR instead. The cheaper alternative would be plugs: https://burgertuning.com/collections...r-bypass-plugs
You need two.

Bought the Burger Tuning exhaust module. Any suggestions on how to remove the passenger side module out? I got the driver side out but passenger side valve is extremely tight so that is still on.

Sorry, haven't frequent the forums much and sorry to say I also have no suggestions on how to remove it, obviously don't force it but can you see what might be holding it on?

also interested.
I have a 2019 - W213
when I shut off the car I used to hear a chirp, took to dealer under warranty and they replaced the whole rear exhaust on the left side ($3000) in order to replace the bad flapper, this solved the issue. However now a few months later (out of warranty) the car is making a low chirping sound while idling coming from the flapper.
When I put in S+ mode I hear the flap open and the noise stops. These things are junk.
does anyone have any reliable way to force these open all the time or delete all together?

I just installed the Burger exhaust valve bypass /delete plugs....
After waiting 15mins for the ECM to fall asleep it only took 10 mins to install! Starting up this morning the car sounded Great!!
Anyone thinking about this should really just do it!
