Whats the best way to hide this?

Hello new member here. Apologize if this thread isn't where its supposed to be.

I have a 2018 c43 and just installed a panamericana front grill. The issue I'm having is all the parts inside where the radiator is, is all visible and its silver which sticks out like a sore thumb.

Any suggestion what I should do about this? I was thinking of using high head paint and blacking everything inside the grill out so its less noticeable?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Appreciate it boss.

Any suggestions. I'm surprised that no one has brought up this issue before? Anyone that has installed a similar grill. Are the radiator parts silver or black?

If you go the painting route I would avoid overspray on the fins of the radiator. You would probably find that it reduces the efficiency of its ability to cool the water in the radiator.

hmmm i was actually considering doing the parts all around the radiator with high temp paint spray but also giving a 1-2 coats to the radiator grill as its got silver fins that stick out which I'm trying to black out.

Is there a particular reason you said I shouldn't do this? I have seen this done multiple times before

each one of those very small fins on the radiator allows for cooler air to circulate around these fins to cool the water. By painting you would provide a form of insulation. I live in Florida, and it was on my last A/C tune-up that the technician (also the owner of the company I use) indicated how a home owner destroyed the outside A/C unit by spraying paint the fins on their home unit. Agreed, it wasn't a car but he indicated it served as insulation and reduced the efficiency of the unit. I hope we are talking about the same part - the sharp to the touch radiator fins.

Where did you get this grill? This one looks really nice. I've been looking around but most of the panamericana girlls I've found, look like a waffle.

I have read in other posts that some guys are using a black mesh type screen behind the grill. I dont have a link to it, it may have been in a Facebook forum. I do know that one of them mentioned getting it off Amazon. Hope this helped, sorry i dont have the exact quotes from them.

You could somewhat blacken the radiator fins by taking a black marker and coloring only the edge of the fins. I often use the jumbo-sized dollar-store black markers when I want to color the head of a screw/bolt (e.g., for my license plates) and find they work quite well for that.

Black screen/mesh can also help hide, but if the grid is small (i.e., has the most hiding effect), it'll also reduce the air flow, which is not something you want to do too much.
