Time for new summer tires

I'm getting ready to to swap off my winter wheels/tires on my 2019 C43 and the OEM Conti summer run flats are shot. I'm looking for recommendations for replacements since I don't love the OEM tires. I know the Pilot Sport 4S tires are popular, and am leaning that way despite some reservations about leaving the run flat camp where carrying a spare is not an option. I ran Michelin Pilots for years on my M3 and RX-8, and had only positive experiences. I travel for work and put a lot of highway miles on the car. The thought of being stranded outside East Nowhereville Ohio is not attractive.

Any thoughts and advice would be much appreciated!

I got the conti all season bc I live in the Midwest and wanted the best AS for snow.
Very happy with them

I had a blow out about ten months ago after hitting a pothole on the interstate. I appreciated being able to drive on the run flat.

That said, you're correct that these are few and far between. I drove the RX-8 for thirteen years without a spare and didn't have a single issue.

I live near Chicago. Much the same weather as Ohio. I use Michelin ps4s in three seasons and nokian hakkapolitas in winter. Never had a problem. If you are concerned about a flat auto zone has kits that include sealant and inflator. Just be sure you buy one that is TPMS safe. The c43 is a premium car. Why use less than the best tires.

You'll feel a huge difference going to the 4S's, I've had two sets on my C450. On the bright side, at least lots of East Nowhereville, OH is very scenic!

Go conti extreme contact. Much better than the pilot for the daily use you are talking about, with very little sacrificed

I've had two sets over the last two cars and never even think about what brand/model I am buying next.
