Anyone have BOV on their 43?
I like the sound, realize there is not much substantive difference....thought someone might have em, thanks..

I feel like I remember a thread saying bov didn’t work great on our cars. Ur looking for some more turbo sound I presume. Not sure how much bov cost
but an intake can add some more turbo sound.

I agree with maverick. Open intakes will increase sound without decreasing performance (assuming you get a tune). C43 are engineered with diverter valves so switching to BOV will damage car. Funny thing is I am aware of this and still want to install BOV hahahah.

Honestly if you are new to the car, i feel like you won't notice the power loss.. i've got a 2017 c43 with JB4, rentech spacers/bov, absolutely love the sounds it creates. I plan on getting an intake... in the near future.

I have just installed Turbosmart dual Action BOVs on my C450, work absolutely amazing and plug and play in factory connector. They work as a rescirculate and vent to atmosphere. Absolutely no issues and hold the boost better. I’m on Jb4 Map2, new spark plugs and the new CTS intakes. Absolutely no issues, BOV installed is not recommended for someone that doesn’t work on cars due to the passenger side location.

How do you like the CTS intake? When you get a chance, take some pics and maybe a sound check? Looks to be the lowest cost intake, with an interesting heat shield setup. How enclosed are the filters?

Looking really good. Thanks for the pics. I just found the installation instructions on their website. Two interesting things I noticed. The sensors are placed into the shield, not the intake pipe (not sure if it matters); and they removed the foam shielding, but don’t mention reinstalling it?

Yea, I actually really like it. I don’t think u can beat it for the price. Shipping was pretty quick as well. I have no complaints. You get the aftermarket intakes and still keep a really nice clean look to it

One more question, are the shields aluminum or steel?
Also looks like CTS offers catted downpipes at a reasonable price too. Hmm….

Heat shields are like a coated aluminum, very light weight and have that nice like semi rough heat coating to it. Thank think of the proper word for that coating right now lol

Downpipes are my next mod then gonna take the JB4 off and have it tuned at a local shop around me that is very reputable here in Atl. Honestly saw that no one else has put actual blow off valves on these cars and that’s what made me want to lol, plus they will hold boost better when running a tune.
