Guidance on Custom Wheels
I have a 2016 Mercedes Benz C450 AMG. I have cracked four of the factory rims, and decided, when I cracked the fourth, to replace the wheels with Rohana RFX15s. I ordered a set of Rohana RFX 15s with Nitto NT555 G2 tires (entire specs below). When they were mounted, the technician reported that front wheels were locking up because they don't clear the control arms. Anyone have any experience with this that can offer guidance?
Also attaching a few photos that approximate what I am trying to accomplish. These are photos of the same wheels on a W205 C63. When I sized the wheels on Fitment Industries site, the indication was that these wheels would work, so maybe there is some kind of work around needed to fit them? I did expect to possibly have to adjust the camber of the wheels to fit them and to match the photos, and I did mention that to the tech, so not sure where we're going wrong here.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks Everyone!
Josh

you may get an answer here but u may also get a lot of “do some research on the forums first”
great looking wheels
C450 does not share the same front suspension as the c300 - you can not use that as a starting point.
9 inch width really just doesn't work on the c450/c43 - you can make it work but not easy and not without some modifications.
You posted a car on airride? If you are not on adjustable suspension I'm not sure you're going to get anywhere the the specs of the wheels.

Thank you for your reply.
I heard back from Rohana and they said I would either need 8mm spacers or get the 25mm offset ones instead of the 35s.
Not sure if the car in the photos is on airride, but my car is not. I did start looking at some kits. Maybe a future upgrade?
I ordered the 8mm spacers and a camber kit. We'll see how those go.
Thanks again!
