Should I replace factory PE?

Hey guys I’m new to mercedes and i recently got a 2022 c43 amg with amg PE. It sounds good but I want it to be louder. Should I just get new exhaust from awe/fi/others or what other options do I have. Obviously not gonna chop the mufflers bc the valves. I’ve thought about ars module to open flaps at all time but it doesn’t really add overall volume. Any suggestions?

Amg C43
There’s threads on here for sure about this
I think most say stock is good and prob bc lack of good aftermarket options

I don’t own a C43 but I’ve heard people do the module and it does work. I don’t know how much more volume you are looking for, it could either be not enough or just perfect, but it definitely does open it up. If I owned one I’d probably go that way as the stock PE is just so well tuned for the most part IMO.

Keep you Performance Exhaust. Get a set of downpipes, intakes and a tune. It will definitely add overall volume.... 🍻

if you really want to go ***** out, get the Logos PE replica and their downpipes. The 2.75 tubing (vs stock 2.50) plus their downpipes sounds downright angry orgasmic!

Good advice on the module.

OP, when you realized how much the valves actually open when the button is pressed, you would be surprised. That said, if you are not in the USA, there is also the OPF that muffled the sound. If you don't have the OPF like others mentioned, downpipes should be the first consideration.

yea that's what i was thinking. But im only 19 so i don't really want to void the warranty with downpipes. Perhaps i just gotta go with the exhaust module thing that everyone recommend

Since i live in the U.S. that means i should go with the module that fully opens up the exhaust at all time plus downpipes?

If you are concerned about the warranty, then just do module first. There are several to choose from.
ASR https://asr-component.de/gb/begin/82...-ml2-c205.html
and RENNTech are the big ones but the latter is just a rebrand of ASR due to licensing to the USA. There are also CETE. If you want to simply keep it on all the time and never turn it off you can buy plugs instead, you need two https://burgertuning.com/products/va...r-bypass-plugs

Let us know what you ended up deciding. There is also an exhaust control through the OBD route but not sure if you want to do that: https://www.shadowmotor.com.tw/en/pr...ontroller.html

Yup if you are concerned with the warranty exhaust module is the safer way.
