I have a 2019 C43 Sedan with the following issues and I was wondering if any of you had or have the same issues and got them replaced under warranty.
Current issues:
- Panoramic front roof panel squealing/wind noise and chipped/pitted
- Water in taillights around the reverse light portion
-The inside of the exhaust tip peeling (night edition)
-All windows frozen shut in cold temperatures (-1 Celsius or lower)
Fixed issues:
- I replaced the boost pressure solenoid because it was causing a goose/duck sound. The service advisor at the dealership in Markham, ON told me that they would need to inspect the car and charge me an hourly rate even though my car is under warranty. I provided a part number and proof of what the issue was but they still carried on about inspecting it. Saved myself the hourly rate and headache of going through a dealer and just bought the part myself and replaced it in 15 minutes. It's a shame they can't just replace the part under warranty when it's a known issue.
- I am also surprised there is no lawsuit or warranty on the rft's + 19" wheels cracking.

These rims are designed only for the autobahn unfortunately where potholes is a not a thing. That said, if Markham isn't working for you, try another dealership. Originally Posted by Prodbyjr

Yea i'm not a fan of the stock wheels anyways but I use them for winter and Rohana RFX 11's for summers. I am glad to hear the exhaust tips are covered under warranty, thanks.

A $60,000 car with wheels that crack based on any inconvenience on the road? absolutely devastating.... but I will try the Brampton Mercedes Benz location regarding the other issues, thanks.Originally Posted by W205C43PFL

I am not defending MB to be honest, I am just saying these guys designed the car with the autobahn in mind and didn't think about us customers in pothole land. Originally Posted by Prodbyjr

I see good luck and hopefully Brampton Mercedes-Benz is able to help out.

My windows freeze too. Took the car to the dealer, who accepted the car and parked it indoors awaiting an available technician. And magically the technician had no problem with the windows. So no fix. Can anybody guess why the technician could not duplicate the problem? Unbelievable.

Updates:
- Panoramic front roof panel squealing/wind noise and chipped/pitted - Being replaced under warranty (waiting for part as it is back ordered).
- Water in taillights around the reverse light portion - Replaced under warranty
-The inside of the exhaust tip peeling (night edition) - Replaced under warranty
-All windows frozen shut in cold temperatures (-1 Celsius or lower) - Well it's summer and there's really no way to prove the issue to the dealer. Will see what happens in the winter.

I rather doubt they designed a medium performance 4 door sedan for every day use all over the world with the autobahn in mind..They were designed to offer alternative to BMW Audi, etc..nothing more.
